I can't comment on other food. Great atmosphere & decor, just missing the beach view if you know what I mean. Service was good, the place was not packed but meals came in about 15 minutes. Food, I had the Tao poke bowl & at first I was skeptical on how good their general Tao could be but in the end I was impressed. The bowls (or plates) is shallow filled with rice & vegetables & this one came with Kim chi. A bit pricey at $20+ but it's just enough food to keep you going. I would definitely go back but it would have to be with a friend that wanted a healthy lunch.
I've been coming here for so long, since before Covid & I've always enjoyed the food & service. My go to is the poke bowls but I've had their tacos & other items which have been equally delicious. I also have their cookbook which I've made some recipes from & it tastes really good!
Fun dinner. Poke bowl was amazing. The were great with an allergy requests. Everyone's (8) meal was excellent.
Worst açai smoothie bowl ever. It was frozen & tasted like liquid juice. This is not a How smoothie bowl should be
Great service, great food. I recommend the Saumon Poke Bowl. It's was great
Best 90s Playlist of music during dinner. Some of the best tacos & poke bowl I've ever eaten. Excellent stop to eat after enjoying the basilica aura light show.
I finally tried my first Açai Bowl & I was NOT disappointed! It was so tasty. I definitely recommend it!
Service was great, price was great, interior decoration was solid, & location was phenomenal - but what actually made this a 12/10 for me was the food. Everything else could have been sub par but they still would have got a five star rating from me simply because of the food. I got the Indian bowl, & the flavours were amazing - the highlight being the sauce, which seemed to be tahini-based with lemon & garlic perhaps? I didn't ask, but it was as if hummus actually tasted good & was turned into a sauce. It's really worth a shot, you should try this place.
Fantastic little place with salads, tacos & poke bowls. Very clear menu to highlight what is gluten free, lactose free etc.
Great restaurant for lunch/dinner - very & delicious fresh meals. I ordered the salmon Poke bowl, it's one of the best poke bowls I've ever had. The staff is also very kind & professional. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area!
Love the places but only one poor guy was running the entire place & got overwhelmed. Also, the açai bowl was frozen like a rock.
We tried the chicken burger & peanut shrimp bowl & the food was average, nothing special. The bowl as too sweet andthe burger was too salty.
Tasted good (3 tacos) but ridiculously tiny. Not sure how the tacos are a main & not in the appetizers section. Guys, add 5$ to the price & serve a regular portion please. 3/5 because of that & nothing else. 1 beer 9$ Miniature Tacos 15$ Poke bowl ~21$-24$ ~70$ total
Another gem in town. Must try chicken burger & ponzu Salmon poke is not same as other poke bowl. Also with drinks we have Sunset boulevard & respect mojito.
Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is nice. (California surfing theme, including music.) Food is very nice. Poke bowls, tacos, burgers. The sweet potato fries were great. We were a large group (16) & had reservations, but they weren't ready for us. Chaos ensued as we mostly arrived on time. Other diners were displaced as tables were shuffled. Staff was disorganized, but were well aware of the menu. But in the end it all worked out well. It is worth a return visit with a smaller group.
My son & I have been traveling in Canada for the past 4 or 5 days & trying different restaurants & different cities. This was the first meal that we did not like. The pizza tasted funny & the shrimp bowl was not good at all. The people were nice enough but the tables were super small. Probably better options to try.
Great little spot for a good lunch while you are on vacation in Montreal. The salmon poke bowl is very delicious! Only thing is the seating is a bit crammed so it makes one on one conversation tough but overall a wonderful place & we will definitely be going back.
