Good food & great service, but plan extra time.
The food was good for an airport restaurant, & the waiter was very detail-oriented & did a great job. Overall, the quality exceeded what you'd normally expect at an airport.
That said, be aware that service is very slow, even though it's careful & well done. Expect to spend over 60 minutes for a full meal. Definitely take this into account when planning around your flight.
After a bit of travel to get through the airport, I sat down at the bar & was served by the wonderful & attentive Cynthia. Drinks with actual alcohol in them & very good pizza. Have a seat & enjoy a break before your flight.
By airport standards, this spot is excellent! The crispy chicken was tasty & well-cooked, & the fries were fresh though not crispy. I was also pleasantly surprised to find Peroni on draft - always a nice touch. Overall, it's a decent & reliable place to grab dinner before your flight. Bonus points for the friendly & attentive staff - they really made the experience better! The prices are of course Airport scale!
Food wise is so so & is airport price. Service wise staff are friendly & efficient. Seats are comfortable enough to sit on for a couple of hours.
This is one of the many restaurants in the International Terminal of Montreal Airport. When I visited, they only had one server, serving well over 10 tables with customers. So it is obviously understaffed. As for the food, I had the chicken pizza & it was just average, OK but nothing spectacular. The price is just ok.
We were in transit, & decided to have lunch here on our layover.
The service was warm, welcoming & hospitable. The food was pretty good. We had a vegetarian pizza & the quesadillas.
Nour was our server, & she was very pleasant & courteous. The decor is pleasing & attractive - modern & artsy.
The food is expensive, but that's to be expected at an international airport restaurant.
Would highly recommend eating here at Montreal airport.
You shouldn't expect exceptional food at an airport & this place is no exception.
We ordered:
Double espresso macchiato
Gluten free veggie pizza
Kids burger with fries

Very disappointing experience at Ubar Restaurant inside YUL airport. For a sit-down place, the food was average, overpriced, & the service was shockingly poor. Our waiter brought a stack of utensils & napkins & just tossed them in the middle of the table, leaving our group of 8 to set the table ourselves - no effort, no attention.
Two of our orders didn't come out with the rest of the food, so we had to wait awkwardly before we could all start eating. No explanation or apology was offered - just more delay & disorganization.
My wife ordered the chicken burger, which was extremely dry & bland. I had the Greek salad main course ($23), & not only was it unimpressive, but I actually got sick on our flight shortly after. For a restaurant in an international airport, you expect higher standards - this missed the mark on every level.
We will absolutely not return, & I would strongly caution others to eat elsewhere.
I ordered the regular poutine, it was very expensive which makes sense in an airport but the fries were suspiciously too similar to McDonald's, there wasn't enough cheese & sauce & the portion was infuriatingly small. If you're gonna charge 20+ dollars for a poutine with mass manufactured fries at least give a bigger portion & make sure there is enough sauce .
This is for sure best place in the airport to eat & rest.
Your waitress, Patricia, took great care of us-she does an excellent job! Just like the entire restaurant staff.
Recommend this place!
