Can't say enough about this restaurant. Inventive cocktails, complexly flavored entrees, & wonderfully friendly & knowledgeable staff.
We enjoyed a lovely 8 dish tasting menu. Each item was beautifully presented & absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful & warm. Thank you Tula!
Whenever we travel the world as vegans we often have to carefully navigate food places looking at menu's for something safe to eat but not at Tula as we were safe in the knowledge that everything on the menu was safe to eat & we could just concentrate on just choosing whatever we wanted to eat that day & that made the whole experience so enjoyable as well as meeting the very passionate & proud owner Abishek who will greet & host you like you are a long lost friend 😊.
Loved the food & the mango lassi - & Abi was SO friendly & gave great service. Will definitely come back.
I had the discovery plate. It was exceptional. Each dish was vibrant, bursting with flavor, & not too spicy for my québécois palate. 100% recommend without hesitation.
The enthusiasm of the young lady describing the menu, her excitement as she passionately explained nearly each item, proved welcoming & priceless. The owner maintains close attention to every guest's experience, walking from one table to the next, engaging in conversation, & extending the distinctive hospitality that distinguishes this ancient culture. The fare, expertly prepared, precisely seasoned, & tasting remarkable, will bring you back for a repeat experience time & again. The menu features a number of the house's unique specialties that, together with their focus on purely vegetarian options, clearly set the establishment apart & well above other places offering similar cuisine.
We've visited Tula twice in the past week, & each meal has been outstanding. On our first visit, we shared three of their brunch platters, & today we started with the lentil soup before enjoying the Jackfruit Biryani & the Grandma Platter. We finished with the sweet potato porridge dessert & our favourite drink, the tamarind ginger mocktail.
Everything we've tried has been delicious, fresh, & thoughtfully prepared. The food is flavourful without being heavy or greasy, & that's something we really appreciate. One of the best things about eating here is that we always leave feeling satisfied & energized, with none of the digestive discomfort we often experience after eating at many other restaurants.
Tula has quickly become one of our favourite vegan restaurants in Montreal, & quite possibly our favourite overall. If you're looking for healthy, creative, & genuinely delicious plant-based food, this place is a must-visit.
I loved Tula so much! The staff was very knowledgeable about thier food & took time explaining thier menu to us which was helpful because some of my friends have an egg & gluten allergy. They felt super safe & well informed while eating there. The food was so good & well seasoned I really liked the butter chicken. The staff was also very kind.
A little haven for vegetarians.
Their jackfruit biryani was really good. Mango moksha is a must try. & Gulkand panna cotta was brilliant.
Recommended to make reservations.
Food is prepared fresh, so the wait times can be long, so account for that, especially if visiting with kids.
