Went by several times with different friends & the atmosphere has always been positive, service was nice & consistent & the servers do offer suggestions which is good in case you want something new to try. Appetizers & meal portion were descent for sharing or having it alone with meal. Will come back for more each time.
I read many reviews before coming here. It's really hit or miss so I wanted to try for myself. I was there during a power outage last week. I had time to finish my meal before the power went out. I had the gyoza & the fried chicken as appetizers. They were the highlight of the meal cause the ramen really left to be desired. I would say prepackaged stuff from the chinese store is more savoury than what they serve here. The Tonkotsu original ramen was nothing particularly enjoyable. Service was courteous & prompt. But where I had a problem, was with payment. Credit cards couldnt be used because there was no power & my friend & I were 92 cents short in cash to just cover for our meal. & we were told... no, we need the dollar. In a world reliant on plastic for payment, I suppose the lesson is always carry cash: paper & coins! Needless to say, I will not return nor will I recommend for the reasons stated above. & yes, I was offered to make a personal e-transfer to a staff member?...which to me is not an actual proof or guaranty of payment. I wasn't going to transfer money directly to our waitress! We were by no means looking for a free meal but it is your responsability to rethink how you will offer to receive payment, legally, in such extra ordinary circumstances as a power outage.
This place serves delicious Raman in a rich soup base served in a delicate portion. We, two people, tried this place out by ordering two appetizers, two soups & two desserts & we both believed that we could still eat a little bit more.

Authentic Japanese cuisine with incredible ramen, appetizers & drinks! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience real Japanese ramen. Also! Vegan options that are absolutely delicious 😋
very good experience! Good ramens for the price, the appetizers were really great too & amazing quality for the price! The decor is very nice & good ambiance!
My table waited 30+ mins between the first appetizer & the second one. Flow of service was better afterwards. However, our waitress messed up our bills making one party pay more than the bill itself. We went back for an explanation/refund but they couldn't do anything about it unless everyone comes back for a refund altogether. So the restaurant gave us one free bowl of ramen as compensation & we left it at that
We decided to try Tsukuyomi Ramen as part of the Mtl à Table event from November 3 to 19 because it offered an interesting 4-service menu. We were a big group & some of us took the event's menu to share the appetizers & some of us ordered from the regular menu. Even though I didn't order from the event's menu, I did get to try the Tuna Tataki, which was very nicely seared & had a delicious ponzu sauce, & the Ika-Age, which was fried perfectly & was very crispy. I also really enjoyed the cheesecake, both mango & green tea flavours were delicious. For the main course, I ordered the Miso Ramen Vegan, the broth was flavourful & I love that it came with the thicker noodles. Service was quick & friendly. Nicely decorated restaurant. We were very happy with our experience. Will happily return for some delicious ramen.
