A formidable contender to Yokato Yokabai on Saint Laurent! I find the restaurant to have more variety & offers dishes that really introduces new experience for your taste buds. Its Goma Salmon & Ika Age (deep-fried calamari) are to die for. The chef was very generous. The Goma Salmon dish is supposed to only come with four pieces of salmon but the chef gave us five pieces each & they were very delicious. The only thing that I would mention is that if you have small children eating this dish, be sure to cut the salmon into smaller pieces for them as the salmon pieces are soaked in sauces & they can become very slippery & can be a potential choking hazard especially for small children or anybody who have reflex issues.
We took the original Chatsu Tonkotsu ramen noodles with pork. The noodles is silky smooth & all of the toppings especially the egg all taste exquisitely. They don't overwhelm your taste buds but they slowly immerses your taste buds in its rich flavours leaving you wanting for more. & don't be fooled by the bowl size. It's VERY filling.
The Sakura & the Japanese painting in the decorations is just beautiful. Be sure to bring your camera & make sure it's charged cuz you will be taking lots of photos.

Woaw! Definitely one of the best ramens i've had in Montreal. Me & my friend ordered the gyozas & karaage to share & they each had a nice crisp to them. The tonkotsu chashu & miso ramen were also amazing. Shoutout to our waiter for making our experience more enjoyable! Brandon you marked my experience in this restaurant, Thank you!
Five stars all the way! The tonkotsu broth was incredibly rich & flavorful, & the karaage was perfectly crispy & delicious. A big shoutout to our server, Brandon, who made the experience even better with his friendly & attentive service. I highly recommend the Mero Mero drink-it was the perfect refreshing complement to the meal. Definitely coming back!
I read many reviews before coming here. It's really hit or miss so I wanted to try for myself. I was there during a power outage last week. I had time to finish my meal before the power went out. I had the gyoza & the fried chicken as appetizers. They were the highlight of the meal cause the ramen really left to be desired. I would say prepackaged stuff from the chinese store is more savoury than what they serve here. The Tonkotsu original ramen was nothing particularly enjoyable. Service was courteous & prompt. But where I had a problem, was with payment. Credit cards couldnt be used because there was no power & my friend & I were 92 cents short in cash to just cover for our meal. & we were told... no, we need the dollar. In a world reliant on plastic for payment, I suppose the lesson is always carry cash: paper & coins! Needless to say, I will not return nor will I recommend for the reasons stated above. & yes, I was offered to make a personal e-transfer to a staff member?...which to me is not an actual proof or guaranty of payment. I wasn't going to transfer money directly to our waitress! We were by no means looking for a free meal but it is your responsability to rethink how you will offer to receive payment, legally, in such extra ordinary circumstances as a power outage.

Love this ramen restaurant the atmosphere is nice & decorations are lovely . the tonkotsu broth was just perfect creamy & rich feel like we ate ramen in japan おいしかったですありがとうございます😇
Cozy little place with beautiful decorations. We tried 3 entrees: salmon sashimi: a bit salty & weird glazed texture. Tuna tataki: tasty & fresh Salmon tartare: delicious & crispy. Main dish: Kara age don: crisp to perfection Tonkotsu chashu original & spicy & Tonkotsu chicken spicy : very tasty & creamy ramen soup. Good experience overall for a rainy cold day. Free parking & wheelchair accessible.
I ate in order: Takoyaki, a Chashu Tonkotsu ramen, drank a Matcha & then ate a mango cheesecake. They were all delicious. Very pretty restaurant & nice staff as well. There weren’t a lot of people when I went as I arrived relatively early, so, I got easy access to the staff.
Located in the most recent development of the Quartier Bois-Franc, Tsukuyomi is in a small commercial section that faces Henri-Bourassa West & opposite the IGA. The resto is designed in a modern izakaya style with bleached wood furnishings & a generally lighter & airier experience than a typical dark wooded izakaya.
The menu is ramen focus (both hot & cold)...for our meal we ordered Chicken Tonkotsu (good but a little bland), Goma Salmon (very good), Gyoza (very good...a classic), Pumpkin Korroke (interesting...not bad, just interesting), & Karaage Donburi (good...but a bit plane...just fried chicken in a plain rice bowl). The service was very friendly & attentive. Overall a worthy visit & good to have a decent Japanese resto in that part of town. Enjoy!
