A japanese jewel in downtown! We tried it once & we couldn't stop ourselves from becoming a regular. It tastes fresh & flavorful, & the presentation of the dish is on point. You can take an appetizer & a small rice (with braised pork or deep-fried chicken) for lunch & it will be more than enough at a fair price. Service is also warm & kind. This is your place to go if you're craving good-quality ramen or rice for a good price.View more

Excellente soupe ramen & excellent gyoza dans un endroit enchanteur. Le décor rend hommage à Myazaki. Il est vraiment ludique. Bonne capacité d'accueil avec ses deux étages. Où suis-je ? Dans une cale de bateau ? Dans Le garçon & le héron quand le garçon arrive dans l'épave reconquise par les plantes ? Juste la décoration vaut le déplacement! Mais ça ne s'arrête pas là 😊. Y'a des 5 à 7 où on peut profiter d'une belle carte de bières, saké japonais ou, encore mieux, de super cocktails simples & goûteux 😋. Les calmars ne sont pas à se pitcher dins murs, mais les takoyaki (croquettes de pieuvre hachée avec une décoration de longs flocons de bonite qui continue à bouger pendant toutes les minutes que vous mettrez à les manger) sont un must!! Le choix de ramen est riche, diversifié (avec option végane diversifiée 👏!) & tellement goûteux. C'est une très bonne idée de mettre la pâte de piments à côté de la soupe: le spectre du 🔥 donne du plaisir à des degrés variables. Mon amour était bin contente. On a été accueilli par une brigade de serveurs & serveuses parfaitement bilingue (une rareté très appréciée dans l'ouest du centre-ville 🫶🏻), toustes les plus avenant·es les unes que les uns & les autres. 2yr ago I walk passed while it's closed, so I'm excited to give it a try also as my local friend was recommended! Here is the review Tonkotsu Ramen Egg is well done! Chashu(pork) is nicely done as well Noodle is good! Broth is good & I wish there is more! Portion of this is right, lots of flavour in it! I'm a big fans of takoyaki, sadly it's probably the smallest I've seen, the flav is alright, it's bit too crispy & dry, assuming it's deep fried than the traditional way, I would not recommend this.View more

such a lovely & cozy restaurant! the interior design is very original & remarkable, which is perfect for taking pictures. we were a group of 6 & were immediately assigned a seat on the upper floor. the entire place is a bit narrow but it's very comfortable nonetheless. the ramen was delicious, & the cheesecake slices were satisfying enough. would definitely return!View more

Découvert durant la semaine du Japon en mai 2024. Un décors insolite & amusant pour ce restaurant japonais spécialisé dans les ramen. Penser à découvrir les ramen froids en été. Mais je recommanderai que pour les ramen froids, ceux-ci soient servis avec le bol de sauce à part pour que l'on puisse y tremper les nouilles au fur & à mesure de manière traditionnelle. Un choix de nouilles de sarazin y serait aussi bienvenu.View more

Very good ramen place! We loved the flavours in both ramens. The only thing I'd change is the topping quantity - you don't get a lot of common toppings like bamboo shoots. You get half of an egg, one sheet of nori, & one slice of chasu. Feel like ramen places usually give you at least two slices of chasu or a full egg. It was also $1 to change the thin noodles to thick. $8 for 4 balls of takoyaki is also a bit expensive for my taste but all in all, everything was still very good & would go back again. Service was friendly. Food came out quick.View more

Best ramen I've had in MTL so far with great service. A true ramen experience. Amazing tonkotsu broth, some of the most flavourful & tender chasu I've ever had. You can really taste the marinade in it. They also do a great egg, can tell by the colour that it's at least a 24hr marinade & not simply soft boiled. Noodles seem to all be thin noodles (no thick option from what I could see). Also a great selection of sake & funky atmosphere. One thing to note, their black garlic oil is actually roasted garlic oil. So the colour will be golden & not black (the way it would be if it was fermented black garlic). It is still very very tasty but I think they should update their menu to reflect the difference, just so folks know.View more

I found the place by chance & was drawn in immediately by the unusual angular walls that greet you in the entrance. While small, this place had the best atmosphere of any ramen shop I've been to; if you're lucky, you can get a seat at the second-floor bar overlooking the street. We were seated at a table on the second floor by the friendly staff, & we ordered a bowl of karaage fried chicken with rice, a bowl of original chashu tonkotsu ramen, & a bowl of chicken tonkotsu ramen. The food amazed each of us. The tonkotsu broth was so creamy & flavorful, & the green onions made it smell so much better. The meat for both the pork & the chicken was tender & delicious, & the noodles filled me up. We finished up the night with a celebratory round of cold sake shots. Much appreciation again to the warm & excellent staff making our evening fun & exceptionally pleasant.View more

I had the fried gyoza, edamame & 2 ramen for me & my girlfriend. As well as a tea & cocktail. The gyoza was nothing to talk about, I don't think it's worth ordering just felt old frozen gyoza. Edamame was okay. The ramen broth was good, noodles good as well, i like mine a bit more undercooked but good nonetheless. The pork was not charred which i think they should & it did not felt very tender. It was more chewy towards the end of the bite & dry. Service was good, our waitress was a bit monotone but maybe she had a bad day, she still took our order correctly. The other girl that brought our order was very nice & smiling when she was at our table which she doesn't have to but it is still pleasant. One thing that bothered me is that both of them went multiple times at our table to see if we were alright as if we were being rushed for some reason. We stayed maybe 45min tops from the time we entered the restaurant & left. & the restaurant was not full which i don't understand why they would need our table.View more

Tried Tsukuyomi Ramen for dinner The interior is soooo cool. I was in love with the colors & ambiance We tried many items & everything was delicious. The ramen was so good. I added eggs & they were just delicious. They have many options. You need to try the gyoza & fried chicken bites. They also have very tasty hot Sake. Im so in love with this place !
