Easily the best ramen in Montreal. It reminds me a lot of the flavorful ramen I had many times in Tokyo.
The yuzu nanban chicken is crispy & slightly spicy, but the sourness refreshes your taste.
The tonkotsu ramen, oh heaven, is so flavorful. The texture of the broth is both creamy & clear! The pork is in good portion, & amazingly doesn't have the smelly pig smell that many ramen shops in Montreal have that really turns people off. Truly well done!View more
One of the best ramen in town: creamy smooth broth with 2 big pieces of chashu & silky ramen noodles. Love the decorations. The staff are very friendly. Food is served fast & timely. It's definitely one of my favorite ramen placesView more
One of the best authentic ramen shop in Montreal! I was pretty impressed with the fun decor, it's super cozy & sends you straight to Japan! It's great to eat with friends! The have many ramens & side dishes to choose from. They are also very accommodating with customizable options within the ramen. The staff are so friendly 10/10 I'm coming backView more
One of our default restaurants, their clam soup ramen is very tasty & the staff are nice & helpful.View more
Great Vegan dishes. We got the cold broth, sesame & soy based ramens. Delicious!! Service was amazing. We were curious about the cold broth ramen flavours. Server asked the chef & they were happy to let us know. Very cool feel in the restaurant. Konnichiwa from YEG VegansView more
Excellent experience. Authentic place, food & ambiance. I had the vegan ramen, it was mild & tasty! The hot sake is also very worth trying, as well as the appetizers. It brought my thoughts back to Japan. Thanks.View more
We've been to the Bois Franc branch a few times, & this was our first visit to the Bishop location. We happened to be there during La Semaine Japon, so with 20% off the mazemen, we decided to give it a try. We ordered the chashu mazemen & the chashu asari shio ramen. As always, the service was quick & the ramen did not disappoint. We especially enjoyed the creamy, rich mazemen. The asari shio ramen had a clean, clear broth-refreshing, though we still personally prefer the bold, classic flavour of their tonkotsu ramen with black garlic oil. Still, this remains one of our favourite ramen spots in town.View more
Cool interior design! The appetizers we ordered, spicy kara age & Takowasa, were delicious. The tonkotsu ramen with chashu & spicy miso was ok-- our friends preferred the mazemen & ordered take out for late night snacks. I personally thought the mazemen was a bit sweet with the peanut sauce. Overall, I recommend the atmosphere & yummy appetizers!View more
Ramen correct, sans plus. Service très agréable, bonne ambiance.View more
Japanese night out with a friend to talk travel-& fuel up right!
I went for the Tonkotsu Ramen: rich homemade creamy pork bone broth with thin noodles, chashu, green onion, kikurage, egg, & nori.
She chose the Maze Men: cold brothless noodles topped with salad, tomato, crispy onions, a poached egg, & tender chicken.
Comfort food, great company, & future adventures on the menu!View more
Great Ramen. Fresh taste. Vibrant flavors. Will be back!View more
Staff, service, & ambiance were all fantastic. The place is very cool looking & has a fun vibe. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the food. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen with chashu. I found the broth to be boring & lacking depth of flavor. It was also extremely oily & salty, I felt like I was being fed spoonfuls of bacon fat. I have had tonkotsu ramen many times, & unfortunately this one ranks close to the bottom. The pork belly was salty & the piece of meat was mostly fat. If that's your thing, this is the place to be. The spice adds a much needed balance in flavor to the broth. The portion size is adequate. Although the people are very nice & the cool vibe, I would not bother coming back to this place again.View more
The food is good, but not great. I've had much better ramen than this place. The portion was the smallest I've ever had at a ramen place. The shiitake mushrooms weren't cleaned properly so they were gritty.
The place was small, but quaint. The tables were very close, so don't expect privacy. The place was nicely decorated.
Service was spot on for the most part. They were nice.View more

Those pumpkin croquettes were the best croquettes I've had in my life (up until now…)
Ramen was a tad bit too salty for my taste, nothing out of the ordinary

The ramen is delicious & ambiance is great
The best marinated egg, tasty.
I recommend the tonkotsu with porkView more
Soup was decent! I had the ramen! The noodles were the star of show! The serving size was average! Service was alright. The staff weren't very warm! Not sure I'd come again, though the decor is nice!View more
If I want to be honest here, the pricing of the ramen is a bit ridiculous for the taste provided. Out of all the ramen places I've been to (other than Kinton Ramen), this one has been the least enjoyable. The ramen itself is nothing to talk about, & I need to pay extra for my ramen to be spicy. I'll never understand how this makes any sense other than the need to get extra money out of you. The atmosphere is subpar & the placement of tables is quite awkward. There are plenty of ramen restaurants around the area but still, take a visit if you don't want to wander around too much.View more
View more
