This place is truly an authentic Japanese gem!
The food & service are excellent every single time. I've been here four times already, & each visit gets better & better. The interior design is amazing - so cozy & inviting, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend it!View more
Cool interior design! The appetizers we ordered, spicy kara age & Takowasa, were delicious. The tonkotsu ramen with chashu & spicy miso was ok-- our friends preferred the mazemen & ordered take out for late night snacks. I personally thought the mazemen was a bit sweet with the peanut sauce. Overall, I recommend the atmosphere & yummy appetizers!View more
My favourite ramen place in Montreal.
The ramen is delicious & ambiance is great
The best marinated egg, tasty.
I recommend the tonkotsu with porkView more
I have now visited this restaurant around 5 times & was never disappointed. I particularly like the architecture of the place & the food is also great! Would recommendView more
Amazing ramen!! Broth was so flavorful, chashu was well balanced between fat & meat. Karaage was very tasty. Highly recommend.View more
Out of all the ramen restaurants I have been trying out in Montreal these last few years, Tsukuyomi is the ONLY one that nailed the ramen, vibe, service, alcohol & pricing. We went for a friends birthday & the ramen was so good, even the vegetarian option looked amazing. Would recommend to anyone & would gadly go again soon (especially after trying other ramen places that were very disappointing). Update: had the chashu pork today & it was amazing!View more
Pretty good ramen, staff was nice & interior is cool. Reasonably priced in my opinion too. Overall would recommendView more
We loved this restaurant! Such a cozy atmosphere & the food is delicious! Really recommend this place, would certainly come back!View more
I've been here a bunch of times & they have to most delicious cold ramen in the summer & the service is always on point! 🥰 strongly recommend!!🙏🏻❤️View more
2yr ago I walk passed while it's closed, so I'm excited to give it a try also as my local friend was recommended! Here is the review Tonkotsu Ramen Egg is well done! Chashu(pork) is nicely done as well Noodle is good! Broth is good & I wish there is more! Portion of this is right, lots of flavour in it! I'm a big fans of takoyaki, sadly it's probably the smallest I've seen, the flav is alright, it's bit too crispy & dry, assuming it's deep fried than the traditional way, I would not recommend this.View more
Got myself on a solo date & it was the best place to do so. Cute spot, not expensive & really great. Service was impeccable ! I recommendView more
The sides were filling & ramen was just right! Walked in without a resi around 7:30ish but was seating pretty promptly. The service is fast & I recommend the Mango Sawa!!! Karaage & gyoza were also really tasty too.View more
Extremely tasty food ! Would come again ! They made a mistake by giving me pork instead of chicken in my soup. Honestly i didn't mind, but they were the first to acknowledge it, & they later gave me the chicken. They even gave me a small discount to account for the delay. Couldn't ask for more, i recommend ! Pictured are the octopus balls.View more
Loved it!! Awesome food, drinks, & service! I highly recommend it.View more
We were a group of 12 tonight & F-Saru was our amazing waiter! Food was delicious & service was great ✨ We were able to get our food pretty much at the same time even if we were a relatively large group. Definitely recommend! 💯View more
Very nice places.. Nice food & good service.. I recommend this places.. 👍👍👍View more
Excellent well rounded restaurant. Every time we've been, we've been nicely greeted & were offered great service. Good service enhances our experience. The ramen is very well balanced. Very smooth feeling. Not too thick, not too thin. The serving temperature is also always perfect. Good side options as well. The decor is quite striking. I enjoy it. Not everyone's cup of tea I'm sure but I personally enjoy it. I definitely recommend this restaurant for all ramen lovers. It gets full quite fast & the place is small. So it's best to reserve of you don't want to line.View more
I have a lot of ramen.. but never like this. The noodles they make here simply hit different - they are chewy & delicious in a way I simply cannot describe. I am writing this review on the metro home & I am sooOo full & sleepy. The spicy tonkatsu was 10/10, the takoyaki was also some of the best I've had (& 6.45$ for takoyaki in Montreal Cmon that's amazing). Even the cheesecake was less than 4, light & delicious & a perfect way to end the meal. The only note is the cocktails are pricey - but they are luxurious (I recommend the one with Yuzu!) No photos because we ate too fast mmmm OH & DINE IN the decor is beautiful & unique!View more
Enjoyed the soup! Only problem is you're paying 25$ for a soup that isn't very filling! If you're like me & need protein in meals, I'd recommend you ask for extras! With that being said, good vibe, good service & the soup was itself, very delicious!View more
Ordered the tonkotsu & miso ramen as well as the sashimi, karaage & the octopus balls. Karaage is great - one of the best we have ever had - large pieces (just four though), super crunchy & well seasoned. The sashimi is fresh - again, just four thin slices & a bit too much ponzu sauce. Octopus balls are nothing to write home about. However, we were here for the ramen. 1st the good - & the only - the noodles were excellent. Chewy & slurpy worthy. However, the broth was way too thick & in particular, the miso one had a funky (not in a good way) taste. Can't recommend the ramen here. The wait staff is good. So, overall the joint gets a 3 star ratingView more
Cold noodles: they are all the same except that they have different sauces. It's very refreshing & light to eat, escpecially on a hot summer day. However, I do not recommend the truffle one. Although you can smell the truffle in the oil, there is no truffle flavor at all.
Dan dan mazemen: creamy, pretty good despite the weak spice level
Takoyaki: favorite appetizer
Salmon bowl: not worth the price, very boring wasabi-based sauce for the salmon.
Honestly, I would recommend the cold noodles here, since it's not something that's setved everywhere. The rest is so-so. Beautiful decor & great service though.View more
Great place! Food was delicious. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend!
Do not forget to reserve in advance to avoid waiting in line!
Really good ramen. Reasonable prices + tipping option at 15%, which was refreshing to see. Salmon appetizer was fantastic. Would definitely recommend for ramen lovers & planning to go back. Only downside is the place is somewhat small & packed so a bit loud. Not sure it's a good place for an intimate date for example.
Great happy hour specials.
Nice ambiance & excellent service.
Would recommend to anyone in downtown Montreal.
I had the spicy tofu ramen with a side of edamame, it was excellent!! Service was great also, would most definitely go back & recommend to friends!
