The stroopwafels here are absolutely delicious & pair perfectly with their coffee! On top of the great treats, the decor is incredibly unique & fun-it gives the whole place such a cool, welcoming vibe. Definitely a new favorite spot!
This is a cafe but with no bathroom for customers.
Edit: The owner's response appears to have confused me with another customer. I did not argue with staff for'10 minutes'. I simply asked where the washroom was, was told customers could not use one, & I sat back down.
Based on the response, this seems to be a recurring complaint rather than an isolated issue… Customers can decide for themselves whether that's acceptable for a café.
The decor is beautiful & the place looks great, I'll give them that. But honestly, the product itself was very disappointing.
This is advertised as gelato, but it tastes like regular industrial ice cream that's been sitting too long in an old freezer. Even a grocery store Drumstick tastes better to me, & I don't even like those.
Another issue was hygiene & cross-contamination between flavors. The staff didn't rinse or clean the spoon when switching from one flavor to another.
The prices are extremely high for the quality being served.
On top of that, the service felt condescending & unwelcoming.
Nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the experience & product quality did not match the image or the price.
We stumbled across this place while visiting Montreal, & it was the best shop we went into! Definitely a highlight! It's gorgeous inside, with lots of adorable cat themed merchendise for purchase, & delicious gelato! I didn't plan on bringing anything large to pack for the plane back, but I ended up getting two mugs

This cafe was soooo asthetically pleasing & oh so cute! I was café hopping around the area for the day & this place stood out the most. I highly recommend the ice cream. I ordered the mint & citron sorbet. It was my first time trying this flavor & it didn't disappoint. The pistachio was also on point!
The signs outside the entrance caught our attention. The smell of espresso & made-to-order stroopwafels drew us in. The charming decor & friendly staff left my wife & me with smiles on our faces. We will definitely be back next time we're in town from Maine.
This place is one of a kind! We walked in not knowing what to expect & had a wonderful time experiencing Montreal's cat cafe (cat's did not serve the coffee) but the experience was unforgettable!

The waffle was not bad.
However, after taking a cash payment the person making waffles DID NOT WASH her hands & didn't change the glove. Then with the same glove she took cash she proceeded to take the dough & make waffles (touching the dough with now very contaminated glove & & then touching the cooked waffle).
That's basic common sense & anyone working with food should understand that they have to wash their hands after touching money.
Also, they have seating-in spaces & don't have washroom.
The staff were very friendly & helpful. The place is fairly new having opened in 2025 but it feels well established. You can tell a lot of care was put into the interior & creating a vibrant & warm atmosphere. They specialize in stroop waffles which were delicious.Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
It is a small, personal business.
It was created to continue the passion of the first shop Chat-Colate by extending into a new concept coffee & stroopwafel shop.
Inside, there are more self-designed cat-themed products.
The two owners are very dedicated & want their customers to feel their passion for food, coffee, & cats.
Their hot chocolate is amazing! It's handmade, not made from powdered mixes.

Amazing food & service! The decor is so cute, it has such a nice vibe, try the stroopwafels they're delicious! I get a box for my coworkers & family from time to time & they're obsessed they keep begging me to get more!
Service is so slow I walked out after 15 minutes of waiting. There was only a mom & her 2 adult sons in front of me & they got small items, yet it took forever. The worker looked depressed. If you care about your business, you'll either replace her or hire someone to help her. I left & bought my hot chocolate from a big chain nearby. I will be telling all my friends to avoid this place because who has time to wait for 15 minutes when the place barely has any customers?
