In creating Toqué!, more than twenty years ago, we wanted to showcase the Quebec products and the work of those who supply us. We want more than ever to acknowledge the contribution of these suppliers who deserve the glorious title of artisans. We owe them the foie gras or samphire; lamb or vegetables, seafood or herbs. These tireless artisans inspire the cuisine of Toqué! to which they bring the flavors, textures and natural aromas of irreproachable freshness. We are members of Relais & Châteaux and Grandes Tables du Monde.
Toqué offers a refined, terroir driven fine dining experience with attentive service and an elegant ambiance. The tasting menus and wine pairings showcase Quebec ingredients with precise technique, delivering memorable dishes and artful presentations that many guests describe as exceptional, even as the price point is noted as premium for a special occasion.
Their food, cocktails, & service are all amazing. The presentation of the dishes is so beautiful. Definitely a great fine-dining experience to try when visiting Montreal.

Pretentious atmosphere. Service was not good. Im on a date with my partner, not with the waitress. I do not need you to come ask me every 10 minutes if the food was good or if I need anything else. Hovering over us does not let us relax while we have our meal. Duck was also way too raw & sides were too ordinary, fish appetizer was lacking a little something. Needs more wow factor & bolder flavours.
An exceptional lunch that showcases both finesse & flavor with decent price.
The halibut dish is a refreshing masterpiece-delicate, lightly cured fish topped with airy foam & surrounded by vibrant berries, herbs, & a bright consommé. It's light yet layered.
The beef course is equally outstanding, with perfectly medium-rare slices melting in the mouth, complemented by earthy mushrooms, charred greens, & silky potato purée. The rich just ties it all together.
Both plates are artful, balanced, & deeply satisfying, celebrating texture, seasonality, & precision. Every element felt intentional & elevated-two standout dishes that left a lasting impression. I absolutely loved them.

I specifically asked for a table by the window but they told me it was reserved by other people only when we got there. The Asian waiter only asked me how the food was & only had eye contact me the whole time, completely ignoring my partner who's a person of color. Food was excellent overall.
We did the 7 course tasting menu which is made up of 3 appetizers, 2 entrees, a pre-dessert or cheese dish, & dessert. I had been expecting 3 entrees but since there were only 2 & the portions were small, I was still hungry even after eating 2 slices of bread already. I would've eaten more bread if they hadn't taken it away already without asking us if we were done & without telling us that dessert was next. So $200+ per person for some food & lots of bread.
Our first time at Toque gave us memories of good food many years ago. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.
Points forts :
My husband & I had dinner here last week & it was fabulous. We hadn't been here in quite a number of years & it is nice to see that the quality, food, & service are all still top notch. We had a lovely seat by the window & our waitress also added to the evening. She was professional, personable, & prompt in taking great care of us. The drinks were great & the food was all delicious. I HIGHLY recommend a beautiful dining experience here!
Really enjoyable tasting menus. They were happy to accommodate not just dietary restrictions but also preferences. I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms due to the texture of them sometimes so when I said that, they were happy to adjust my plates accordingly. 10 likes & I'll say what the picture was.
