Something I wish all of my loved ones could experience. More than I have ever spent on food, but what an experience. I will remember it for the rest of my life. Exceptional! We went with the tasting menu & the wine pairing, trusting in the tastes & selections of the chef & sommelier, & we were surprised & delighted by every bite.
Service is really good. My daughter thinks the dessert taste better than the main course. I kinda agree, dessert is really good, each item has a different flavor,not very heavy or dense. There is one bite I can taste a freezer burn though. Mocktail drink is good. Appetizer raw Scallop is very fresh & tender. Overall the main dishes are nothing special. My 10yr old daughter says the lamb lollipop is not as good as the one in l'ambroisie Paris. I think it's fair since the other one is a Michelin 3 star. Given the name of the restaurant & cost I think it's more of a 4.5 but not a 5.
very very good for the first time (got the fish).
the second time was not as good as the first. I really didn't like my sirloin dish, very hard to chew.
Edit: The third time was good again. The fish again was excellent. Duck was also good as usual. Maybe they are not very good with red meat(?)
The service has been great all along.
Edit: went there for the fourth time. None of what we had tasted good, at all. Won't be back again.
Je n'ai pas été impressionné par mon expérience, ma copine non plus. C'était correct, mais sans être à la hauteur du prix demandé - j'ai mangé mieux ailleurs, pour moins cher.
Le barman était sympathique - j'ai attendu une demi-heure au bar ma copine, il m'a fait déguster ses gins préférés. Notre serveur était professionnel, sans plus. Je n'ai pas davantage été impressionné par le décor.
Je m'attendais nettement à plus, d'un restaurant ayant une telle réputation, & pratiquant des prix aussi élevés. J'en suis ressorti avec une facture salée, & je suis resté sur ma faim.
Went to Toqué & had a great experience. The staff was very accommodating, especially with one of our guests who is vegan, & they offered thoughtful & satisfying options. The menu is described as Québécois, but we weren't quite sure what specifically made it feel that way-it came across more like classic upscale French cuisine. Still, the service was excellent & we left very happy.
On est allé souper hier & ce fut extraordinaire tant sur le repas le service & l'ambiance. Nous on a choisi la surprise de sept service incluant le vin qui les accompagnait alors wow pour tout. Je le recommande vivement 🥰 merci pour toute votre équipe vous êtes formidable ♥?

The most incredible culinary experience!! All 6 of us were absolutely blown away. Our waiter'uncle ben' treated our baby boy like he was his own family. His knowledge of their menu was above & beyond. Every single staff member we encountered (at least 7) were beyond kind & friendly to us. Our son was treated like a star. You can tell this restaurant values relationships. Although the food was absolutely out of this world, (literally the best food we have had) it is the people at Toque that we will cherish. Thank you for the experience of a lifetime.
Une expérience culinaire sans pareil. Nous avons pris le menu 5 services avec accord vin & mets découverte & tout a été littéralement sublime. Un mélange de textures & de goût avec une maitrise des techniques & un service exceptionnel. J'ai vraiment hâte d'y retourner! Merci à toute l'équipe du Toqué de nous avoir fait vivre cette aventure inoubliable. Vous avez obtenu toutes les étoiles de mon guide!

The food & wine pairing was absolutely fantastic.
I had read some concerns about the sauses being bland, but I found them to be perfectlry balanced. They complemented the naural flavors of the ingredients without overpoering them. The dishes were refined & delicate, & both the service & ambiance exceed my expections.
An unforgettable dining experience! The food was delicious & artfully plated! Thanks chefs for adjusting the entire tasting menu to fit my dietary restrictions with care & creativity.Each wine pairing came with a well told captivating story. Our waitress was warm & attentive, & the bartender dazzled us with creative mocktails. The cozy, elegant ambiance made it all the more special. A true feast for all the senses!
While I truly appreciated the experience, the high price point didn't quite match the overall wow factor I was hoping for - which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
Lovely experience. The food was delicious & offered a thoughtful journey through in-season Quebecois cuisine, but what truly stood out was the staff. Everyone who took care of me was kind, welcoming, & a joy to talk to-especially the main bartender, who curated a full mocktail pairing to accompany my meal. I really appreciated not feeling left out of the drink experience just because I wasn't drinking alcohol. Their attentiveness made the evening feel personal & memorable. I had a wonderful time.
