Overall, Tiamo comes across as a stylish and cozy Italian spot with a lively atmosphere and a strong emphasis on wood-fired pizzas and generous portions, though several reviews mention high prices relative to portion size and mixed dish quality. Pizzas are frequently highlighted as excellent, along with tasty pastas and appealing desserts, while a few mains can be bland or overcooked and some tables experience slow service or inconsistent pacing, especially during busy times. The cocktails and wine lists are often praised, and many guests note attentive, friendly service, even as others report variable experiences and occasional gaps in attention or speed. The ambiance is repeatedly described as chic, vibrant, and suitable for dates or groups, but noise levels can be loud and seating tight, with some guests noting discomfort at higher levels or near kitchens. Reservation advice is common, as is the sentiment that the dining experience can be very good or excellent, but value for money depends on expectations and the specific dish and moment.
We went there around 4 pm, which was not at all a busy time & yet still we waited so long for our food to arrive. & then the pizza crust was burnt & chewy to a point that I didn't even eat half of it.
The food was very good! The Neapolitan style pizza in the wood oven was excellent, & the pasta was truly delicious. Given that, the price was a bit high (I would say 20 percent more than similar restaurants.) The ambient was by no means Italian, with so many artificial flowers around & shiny gold chairs. Also, not a very vegetarian-friendly restaurant.

Dope place. Great date spot. A bit expensive, but worth it. I want to thank the staff & the chef. If you are reading this, Max, know I appreciate the hot dog. Xoxox.
Honestly! One one the best place I been to here in Montreal. Food was amazing! Staff was absolutely fantastic. Best experience I've had in Montreal for dinner.
Very busy place - we could only get seats at the kitchen bar (group of 4)... Which was not very comfortable. That's on us - we didn't call far enough ahead. Portions are fairly small, but the food is delicious. I would go back next time with a table reservation
Wonderful pizza, cannot recommend the burrata pizza enough! The chairs are not the most comfortable & we asked to move to a bench. The Vendetta cocktail was divine & I could drink a pitcher of them. Thanks for a good experience.

We were a group of 10. I want to start by saying that our waitress & all the staff was very nice. However the service was horrible. The logistics of the meals wasn't there. We received our appetizers but before we were done some of us received their main course but then the rest of us received it much later once everyone else finished eating. Also most of the staff carrying drinks didn't know who to carry a glass, they hold them with their fingers on top. I find this very unhygienic. The food was ok & the restaurant was very small & to many tables/chais for the limited space. Not worth the hype. Don't believe everything you see on social media.
Beautiful restaurant with a nice atmosphere. We ordered the Caesar salad, ragu & margherita pizza & enjoyed everything. Generous portions, fresh & tasty
Salmon tartare barely had any taste,, missed spices & sauces. Pasta was OVER cooked.. far from being a good Italian restaurant Unfortunately. Atmosphere & interior design is good
