We visited Tiamo on a weekday evening. Our first impression was positive. The hostess was welcoming & proactive in finding us a table despite our spontaneous visit.
However, service was quite slow. We waited nearly 30 minutes before seeing our server, which felt unusually long & had us considering leaving. Fortunately, we were attended to shortly after.
We ordered the Italian sausage pizza & the Mediterranean pizza. The dough was well-made & met expectations, but the overall experience was mixed. One pizza was enjoyable, while the other was let down by a canned-tasting tomato sauce that lacked depth & flavor.
The ambiance & decor are beautiful, though the space is quite small with tables placed close together. In the evening, the music was fairly loud although still manageable for conversation, but not ideal. The staff interactions felt somewhat robotic & transactional, which took away from the overall experience.
Overall, I likely wouldn't return for dinner, but I'd consider giving it another try during the afternoon. So who would I bring to Tiamo? A casual friend.
Went for my girlfriends birthday & got reservations. We were seated immediately but it took over an hour to receive our food whilst multiple other patrons who came some time after us received theirs. When it came out it was good but not as good as the price tag would make you think. Tables are crammed together so you can barely breathe (think New York City apartment) & music is playing just loudly enough to interfere with your conversation & seemed to go up in volume as our time there went on.

Booked a reservation & they are fairly accommodating to our group of 7 with dining upstairs & down stairs. Very aesthetic & cute for photos (lots of mirrors). There is loud music but the playlist was good. Cocktails & wines good, well priced as well. 3 courses & cocktails won't run you up a ridiculous amount.

Appetizers: Meatballs are a little dry but seasoned very nicely & have a good taste, octopus very forgettable
Mains: The rosé rigatoni & sausage was one of the best options, good sauce but not a lot of sausage. Ragu veal pasta good but nothing extremely wow. Duck linguine had a fake bacon taste. Will not be coming back for the pastas. All dishes came out pipping hot!!!
desserts: DELICIOUS & the best part of our experience. Even if you don't traditionally like chocolate mousse, like me, i still suggest giving this one a try. The chef creates a decadent twist to this dessert & it was AMAZING. The tiramisu creme was so delicious. At the time of our visit, the dessert of the day was cheesecake. Super creamy & light, maybe just missing a couli.

The food runners seemed very young &
confused, not dressed well, & basically slammed the plates on the table. Water was very scarce & wasn't refilled. Old plates stayed on the table even if second courses had come. Wine glasses weren't very shiny & unused ones weren't cleared from the table even if we didn't have much space. Minimal knowledge of the menu. We were not informed of any last calls for the bar & couldn't order more. They were definitely pushing for us to pay quickly & leave even if we hadn't ordered dessert yet. The waiter was still sweet all things considered.
Great ambiance with good background music. The service is good & servers are nice & willing to explain to you the menu!
The food is good & great portions! Been there a few times & never got disappointed !

Vibe is so cool, music is beautiful, waiters is amazing, Hamza cared all the time about me & my girlfriend about food & drinks. He is very good person, Ti Amo should value these people
The pizza was decent, but had a lot of flour at the bottom & was not cooked evenly all around. The service was slow & took forever to take our order, although they did make sure to fill up our water glasses frequently.
The music was very loud, especially on the second floor, & made having conversation difficult.

Excellent time at Tiamo! The food was amazing, the staff was on point & the vibe was fun! Music choice & decor was a great fit. Make reservations if you can. 10/10
We just went there with my family to celebrate my wife's birthday. It is a hidden gem. I was not expecting the service & food to be this good. Our waitress was amazing & she was always around but like bothering too much amount. She gave suggestions. We ordered octopus, al ragu, Alfredo & for the kids cheese pizza (custom made since it is not on the menu). Everyone liked their food. Waitress suggested a mocktail for my wife for her birthday & she really liked it. The octopus was the best I have ever had & I am from Turkey so I know what I am talking about. Pasta was cooked perfectly. They also surprised us with a birthday dessert & sang happy birthday to us. We really felt special at this place. I don't know why some people say the portions are too small. I think it was perfect. The place is not actually for kids but they accommodated them perfectly not like some of fine dining restaurants where you feel that as a family that you are not welcome. The atmosphere was good. It was not cold or hot. The music was not too noisy so we cannot hear ourselves. Basically, I can recommend this place for dates or even for small family celebrations. The price is OK, I would not say it is cheap but compared to some other restaurants around they were reasonably priced.
The food was pretty good, but the server was quite a little rude. It might be the music, but when we talked to her she would just talk while we were still talking & ignored what we were saying.. The restaurant overall is very pretty & the food is good, but the music is wayyyyyy too loud, I couldn't even hear my boyfriend that was sitting next to me.

This was the weirdest ambiance ever could have imagined. The ambiance was good but they had the loudest bumping house music playing like I was at an electric music concert. I didn't understand this at all was the weirdest thing ever in a restaurant. Speakers were in every corner of restaurant it was horrible. The service was horrible we ordered our food & 5 minutes later it was at our table how do you make an entree in 5 minutes it wasn't even hot when it arrived it was like they had premade spaghetti sitting somewhere & they just put it in a pan with sauce to get it warmed up. Terrible all the way around.
Lovely staff & good portions. Sat at the bar & Bianca (bartender) was amazing & friendly. Food got served at a good pace. Music makes a good atmosphere.
Our hotel recommended this as a high end romantic restaurant. The music was NOT dinner music, more for a bar. The spinach & ricotta stuffed pasta in pesto cream sauce was bland & chewy. It took us 15 min to get glasses for our sparkling water. Our fault for not booking ahead of our trip. Get the pizza as that looked good anyway...

This is a great little spot in Montreal. I enjoyed the music. The pasta was tasty. The staff were very Pleasant. The owner actually bought me a beer. It had been a very long week. Away from my family & it was Father's Day. Thank you! See you next trip.
I really enjoyed having dinner there. I have been 2 Times & the second time was better (I was Seated upstairs) The food & cocktails were good, I took a pizza each time. I suggest to make a reservation in advance to make sure you have a seat in the dining room & not at the bar. It usually crowded & really loud (people talking + music) The staff is nice & the Space is well decorated.
Went for birthday dinner. Food was mid at best... pizza good. Burnt bread sticks. Unseasoned & dry chicken breast on salade. Prices are reasonable. Service from host & waitress was pleasant. We asked not cut birthday cake but they still manage to butcher the whole thing. I suggest u keep ur cake at table if u dont want to cut the whole thing. Atmosphere & music were excellent... great for pics really & a quick bite.
Just wow ! Am actually happy to found a place like this deco was amazing music soft & calm it was crowdy a little bit but i think for the space availble & because of the great quality of food it's normal to be as busy honestly really happy about the pizza i tried the borratta pizza real italien dough crispy & light very teasty & the price is not bad as its wood oven & top quality we had reservation & the service was pretty quick & organised the drinks are great as well & good amount of choices . We had sit near the kitchen & we where watching the chefs working it was amazing how they work & we even had little discussion with them the staff is really cool & friendly . I highly recommend !
