After dining here three times, I finally decided to leave a review.
The steak was... fine. Just fine. In my opinion, it was an average steak seasoned only with salt & pepper. There's absolutely nothing wrong with keeping the seasoning simple, but I was expecting more from a steakhouse. I would have liked to see proper grill marks & the kind of flavour that comes from finishing the steak with butter & fresh herbs such as thyme or rosemary. As served, it lacked that depth & ended up being fairly ordinary.
On my first visit, the espresso was unfortunately another disappointment. It was diluted & noticeably bitter. After that, I started having my espresso elsewhere before coming here.
What really affected my overall experience, though, was the atmosphere. On all three visits, the young ladies at the entrance tried to push me to sit at the bar. Each time I politely asked for a table instead, I was met with a look that made me feel as though I was making an unusual request. I was then seated at a table tucked away in the corner without anyone asking whether I was happy with the location, while at least 80% of the place was empty. It may seem like a small detail, but it left me feeling more like I was being accommodated than welcomed.
After I mentioned my experience to the server while paying, she offered to call the manager so I can talk to him. By that point, however, I simply wanted to leave this place.
I was prepared to give this restaurant an average rating based on the food alone, but the overall experience & the way I was made to feel ultimately changed my mind. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.

Went for my Birthday. Waitress had to really struggle to be semi palatable & counterbalance her sarcasm. We chose to come here on whim over Gibby's. Big mistake!!! Servers all look like they are miserable. Front of house was the only half decent staff. Where do I start? I am a foodie. I travel the world for good eats. My son who accompanied me is also a chef. First. My steak was supposed to be medium rare. But it was much closer to medium well. I didn't even bother complaining & just ate it. So after spending 200$ on a couple steaks & a starter, a couple of cold beers. I could only be disappointed in this experience in my city of gastronomy heaven.
Bathrooms smelled like urine & if you look around at the close details, you can see the cleaning crew are about as excited to make an extra effort as the staff. No one smile out of anyone. Totally feels forced.
Super service . Ma femme est coeliaque le gérant est venus nous parler personnellement pour nous rassuré. Ma fille a reçu un superbe désert pour sa fête!
It was a Father's Day dinner & the family decided to goto this Keg @Place Ville Marie! Unfortunately, the prime ribs were a bit more chewy than we would like & it was just not as good as all the prior experiences we had!! The bread is still freshly baked & tasted nice!!
The food was good, but I have to admit, what really impressed me was the service. The staff were excellent from start to finish! Attentive, warm, & genuinely caring. Our glasses were never empty, they communicated really well. They handled my food intolerances with so much care, which, to me, means peace of mind, & it's rare to feel this looked after. It made my date night a beautiful experience. They also were really quick to resolve any issues we had. I didn't even have to feel bad for bringing it up. Honestly, for the vibe & the service, they get 5 well-deserved stars from me.
The female receptionist at the door was so stuck up & kept telling us'unfortunately there's no tables except the counter', & we asked if we sit somewhere else because the restaurant is basically empty! There's no way suddenly it's all reserved. But she kept saying'unfortunately''unfortunately'😒🙄🙄🙄so unprofessional & we asked other staff again, they took us to another table. Other staffs were friendly tho.
Don't understand why she's so stuck up like this🙄I'm the customer here & the restaurant is literally empty with countless tables.
