Really great. Hits all the quality steakhouse notes. Perfectly cooked steaks & my wife even got a burger, which I tried, & it was delicious. One little side note.. I didn't take away any stars but I will mention some very minor criticism. Do not order rice as a side, it was very under seasoned. If you get lobster bisque, have them hold the garnish... its much better velvety naked. PS. Get the garlic cheese toast!!View more

Best steak I've had in awhile hands down. Grilled to perfection with just a smidge of salt to bring out the flavor. Top it up with some black pepper & it's excellent. The baked potatoes are great too & complements the steak nicely. Waitstaff was great with their service & recommendationsView more

I came here for my 3 year anniversary & had an amazing time. The waiter was amazing & helpful. He gave us great recommendations for dessert which was much appreciated since we were full but still was in the mood for something sweet. The steak & lobster was a fantastic. This is the place you'd want to take someone special & enjoy great quality time with them. The atmosphere really set the tone for our night.View more

Let me tell you something about Keg. They don't just serve steak; they serve manna from the meat gods themselves. Juicy, succulent, & cooked to perfection. & don't even get me started on the Escargot appetizer-each bite is a symphony of flavor that'll make your taste buds weep tears of joy. Now, let's talk scotch. They've got a selection that would make even the most seasoned whiskey connoisseur weak in the knees. As for the service, it's like having a team of steak-loving ninjas attending to your every need. Vacation in Montreal, trying out one of the suggested best Steak house. We had the 18oz prime rib with mash potatoes cooked med rare, 12 oz New York strip cooked medium rare, BBQ ribs full rack, & vegetarian meat loaf. Calamari for appetizers & Brussels sprouts to share. Over all it was a great meal, our server was friendly & attentive. She totally forgot our Brussels sprout, & gave it to us on the house. That's great service!View more

I love this location! They were so accommodating, we got a booth in the restaurant on Saturday night right away even though it was very busy. I am doing keto & it was not hard to find a delicious meal without having to settle. The cauliflower mash was so tasty I wasn't even jealous of the mashed potatoes the other person had. The steak was done a perfect medium rare & the shrimp, scallops & bernaise sause were so good. I will probably be back for this exact same meal a few times. Conventially located on top of the station. The atmosphere is great for social & business engagements. Dinner tables are set around the bar. Complimentary bread was served warm & that is good. The special-of-the-day was bone marrow & goes well with the sauce. Main was rib steak bone-in that was nothing fancy & of resonable portion for 2 pax. We had no reservations (actually made them for the wrong location), but the gentleman offered to seat us outside, which we appreciated. & just when I began to feel a bit chilly they lit a heat lamp behind me! Roast beef cooked medium rare as requested. Perfect!! I've never been a fan of the steak fries though. The potato was a bit too well done. It was almost like cream cheese. Still good though. The atmosphere was much calmer than our last visit. We could hear each other speaking this time. They didn't ask if we were celebrating anything this evening I think for the first time ever. Dined at The Keg & was thoroughly impressed. Their oven brie, paired with small breads, jam, & pesto, created a harmonious blend of flavors that was absolutely delicious. The French onion soup stood out, with the onions cooked to a deep hue, revealing a prolonged cooking process that rendered them delightfully sweet. The steaks have consistently been top-notch, showcasing their expertise in that arena. However, a word of caution on their alcoholic beverages — they can be a hit or miss. Tried this Keg location the other night for a bday supper.
We usually go to the old Montréal Keg but for a change we tried this place in PVM.
This place was great. The staff was professional except for our waitress who looked like Charlotte Cardin which was not very attentive & never came & poured us wine.
It's ok because everything else was great.
We will be going back there now also.
The food is really good & the portions are good too
This place makes you feel good you went for a nice steak dinner & everything went well.
The price is good considering the quality you are eating.
This is not a cheap place but well worth spending for what you get.
I recommend trying this place out & if your waitress looks like Charlotte Cardin then maybe ask to sit elsewhere.
So far The Kegs have all been good except for the Pointe-Claire location which is a joke.
Go try the Place Ville Marie location, you won't regret it or the old Montréal Keg.
The menu variety is awesome & don't forget to keep some room for dessert.
