Catherine at the Lunch Bar is outrageously professional & courteous. I have been coming for lunch at her lunch for 18 years regularly. It's like'Cheers' where she has built a clientele where everyone comes together often for great food & service!

Absolutely stellar experience! We were just passing through from the Maritime provinces on our way to Europe & decided to stop in-& we're so glad we did. Sitting at the bar, we were lucky enough to have Mark as our server. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, inviting, & genuinely attentive. His level of service was outstanding-something we don't often come across, even in our travels. Mark made us feel welcome & valued, & his friendly, personable nature truly elevated our experience. How can you not love the best prepared meat in town, personally we come here for the prime rib but the rest of the cuts are superb, the T-Bone is worth a try, delicious, & the bacon wrapped scallops were so juicy with a hint of sweetness i swear I could have eaten 2 plates of just that, we go often to the Keg, you can always count on the most perfectly cooked piece of meat you'll ever have. & gotta order the tuna tartare, I always get that to start, so well prepared, absolutely packed with flavor, the only problem was the music, it was so loud i had to scream at my guests & I couldn't hear my husband who was sitting right next to me, I asked the manager to lower it but I'm not sure I noticed a difference, my throat hurts from yelling at my guests for 3 hours this is why I removed the atmosphere stars, there is no reason for it to be like a club loud or a bar, it's a dinner, I want to talk normally & be able to hear my guests, this was a major issue for me.View more

Bel accueil, service bon, certains plats sont excellent ......mais la soupe À l'oignon........un vrai désastre.......ça goûtait le fond de boeuf trop prononcé ce qui était désagréable. Les cocktails sont excellent. L'ambiance est bonne. La logistique est par contre un peu à revoir........j'avais réservé pour une table en salle.........& finalement on s'est retrouvé du côté Bar pour manger......pour quelques raisons que ce soit notre table n'était pas prête pour l'heure de réservation.View more

The meats looked good & always love classic prime rib - that looked best. It was noisy w lots of cliche club music. The bar didn't have a divide so you just look at the person across from you. I didn't eat enough to give a real review, but...the crab cakes were crabby which is most important - the crust & cooking didn't help, but were medium. Dip was too salty - lots of salt. Presentation not good. Wedge salad - lettuce wasn't quite cold enough, but it was a good medium wedge salad. Extra cold helps - its supposed to be refreshing. Chilled utensils help too. Was a medium - Bleu cheese was mediocre. The customer's were interesting. Oh, my dirty martini wasn't drinkable - had some sweet floral flavor in it. The coors light was cold & fresh.View more

J'ai reserver a 8h30 avec une demande d'être dans un coin tranquille. Nous sommes arrivés d'avance en demandant si bous pouvions tout de suite avec une table. Il nous on dis non, en nous plaçant au bar. Ok, pas de souci. Il est 8h30 & le barmaid, super gentil, va voir à l'accueil pour notre table. Il dis que ca sera pas long. 8h45, je decide de me lever, d'aller voir a l'accueil. La fille a l'entrée me dis qu'ils nous cherchais? Elle nous apporte a notre table, dans le couloir, achalandé.... Deja vraiment pas impressionner .. la serveuse viens nous voir... nous dis les spéciaux de la journée & fait une remarque, du genre j'imagine que vous n'êtes pas ici pour manger du porc... a savoir que nous étions ps en complet mais habillé normalement.. c'est quoi cette remarque? Quand nous prenons une bouteille de vin duck horn, la sont comportement change radicalement ... La salade césar... tres ordinaire.. les salades césar de la belle & la boeuf & du shaker, la cage au sport 100% meilleures (ce n'est pas plus des endroits de salade.. mais vraiment meilleur) Leur pain est sa coche par exemple!View more

Conventially located on top of the station. The atmosphere is great for social & business engagements. Dinner tables are set around the bar. Complimentary bread was served warm & that is good. The special-of-the-day was bone marrow & goes well with the sauce. Main was rib steak bone-in that was nothing fancy & of resonable portion for 2 pax. Good selection of wine & reasonably priced.View more

Now one of my favourite restaurants.
To start we arrived at maybe 5:30 & were told we may be waiting for about 30 minutes already! It ended up being about 15 minutes but in the meantime we were brought 2 free entree tasters. The entire service was impeccable.
I had the teriyaki sirloin in rare & my boyfriend had this special "limited time" menu, he got a steak with pesto & brie. Both were amazing & perfectly cooked. We had a side of rice pilaf, very good. We also took an entree of mushroom neptune & a small passionfruit creme brulee. Everything was absolutely divine. Although pretty expensive it was totally worth it & I am looking forward to going again.
The ONLY negative point is that it was very loud, but there seemed to be some party going on near the bar.
