My filet mignon 7 Oz was very good & medium rare just right. The veggies did not seem as exciting as the monte Carlo potato. Did not venture to seafood but steak & meat were very good. Prime rib did not & was cold. & the salad appetizer called a wedge was drenched in ranch dressing. But presentation & bacon bits were good.View more

Je fréquente The Keg pour des occasions spéciales à la PVM, Laval & St-Bruno. J'ai trouvé que celui de la PVM avait l'air défraîchi & aurait grandement besoin d'être rénové. La salle de bain des femmes avec son sofa rouge en velours suspect & le tableau abîmé faisait pas mal pitié à voir. Côté nourriture, là aussi la qualité m'a parue dégradée par rapport à mes repas antérieurs dans ce steakhouse réputé. Ma salade César avec 3 crevettes grillées en entrée était molle & nullement croustillante. Mangeable mais sans plus. La laitue romaine n'était pas du tout à la hauteur du prix qu'elle commande. Bref, je suis sortie de là assez déçue.View more

Oh boy, we thought Monday we would be treated like king & queen but nope treated like poppers. The place was dead & they sat everyone together in these very uncomfortable table. I'm 6 foot don't put me at a baby table. I'm a Yelp elite of 10 years this is not the way it's supposed to be done. Got a rotten salad & not even the one I wanted, a burnt potato & 0 bread. Came to the Keg with my partner downtown for my birthday. Had a decent experience although I couldn't say I was happy with the group of 4 women who sat behind us in a booth for two. They had been very loud & often using swear words out loud drawing the attention of some other guests. The French only soup was delicious, however the Caesar salad was disappointing as you don't get too much. Burger was very good & the steak sandwich was juicy.View more

Highly recommend the steaks, Gruyère Mushroom Dip, Iceberg Wedge & the Twice Baked Potato. Our waiter was attentive throughout the meal. They also have outside seating. For appetizer, we got the Gruyère Mushroom Dip which was very good. The pull apart bread was soft & well with the dip. We each got a variety of the steaks. First time trying a Baseball Top Sirloin. All the steaks were cooked to order. If you get the Keg Classic, it comes with a salad & side. The Iceberg Wedge salad was very good, especially if you like blue cheese. For the side, definitely try the Twice Baked Potato. They had a summer menu so tried the lobster roll which was very disappointing - do not get that, stick to the steaks! We also had the Mac n Cheese & Broccolini to share. Max n Cheese was average. Broccolini was too lemony so we didn't enjoy that & the portion was very small.View more

This Keg is located in Place Ville Marie. It's convenient on a rainy day as you can park underground & walk up into the restaurant. Keep your bill as you can validate your parking on your way to your parking spot to save money & only pay 8 dollars. They have good drinks that you can make a Keg size by adding an additional shot into it. The food was mediocre. It wasn't as good as the one in the West Island or Laval. The steak wasn't rare like I ordered. It was more of a medium. The mushrooms lacked flavor, but the calamari, bread, & salad were good. If you like ice cream, you have to try the Billy Minner pie! It's delicious!!View more

The meats looked good & always love classic prime rib - that looked best. It was noisy w lots of cliche club music. The bar didn't have a divide so you just look at the person across from you. I didn't eat enough to give a real review, but...the crab cakes were crabby which is most important - the crust & cooking didn't help, but were medium. Dip was too salty - lots of salt. Presentation not good. Wedge salad - lettuce wasn't quite cold enough, but it was a good medium wedge salad. Extra cold helps - its supposed to be refreshing. Chilled utensils help too. Was a medium - Bleu cheese was mediocre. The customer's were interesting. Oh, my dirty martini wasn't drinkable - had some sweet floral flavor in it. The coors light was cold & fresh.View more

Really impressed with my experience at The Keg, as well as publishing all allergen information on their website, when I ordered I was asked whether gluten feee was a preference or an allergy. I told them I was coeliac, they took my order, & a few minutes later the chef came out & confirmed how they'd ensure my meal would be GF. I started with a green salad, & then when it came to my (perfectly cooked) steak the chef personally brought it out for me. 5* service, great steak dinner at a great price.View more

J'ai reserver a 8h30 avec une demande d'être dans un coin tranquille. Nous sommes arrivés d'avance en demandant si bous pouvions tout de suite avec une table. Il nous on dis non, en nous plaçant au bar. Ok, pas de souci. Il est 8h30 & le barmaid, super gentil, va voir à l'accueil pour notre table. Il dis que ca sera pas long. 8h45, je decide de me lever, d'aller voir a l'accueil. La fille a l'entrée me dis qu'ils nous cherchais? Elle nous apporte a notre table, dans le couloir, achalandé.... Deja vraiment pas impressionner .. la serveuse viens nous voir... nous dis les spéciaux de la journée & fait une remarque, du genre j'imagine que vous n'êtes pas ici pour manger du porc... a savoir que nous étions ps en complet mais habillé normalement.. c'est quoi cette remarque? Quand nous prenons une bouteille de vin duck horn, la sont comportement change radicalement ... La salade césar... tres ordinaire.. les salades césar de la belle & la boeuf & du shaker, la cage au sport 100% meilleures (ce n'est pas plus des endroits de salade.. mais vraiment meilleur) Leur pain est sa coche par exemple!View more

Le serveur était professionnel, sympathique présent sans être envahissant. Nous avons choisi deux entrées & deux côtes de boeuf. Ma salade César pour 13$ était insignifiante. Honnêtement c'est une honte de servir cela à ce prix là. Salade flétrie & noircie, réellement trois croûtons insipide, d'énorme copié de parmesan (quantité totalement disproportionnée par rapport à la taille de la salade) & une sauce presque inexistante, sans goût ! & que dire de la quantité, une petite à sieste. Pour ce que ca coûte de la romaine & du pain sécher, pour 13$, ils pourraient gâter le client... La cité de boeuf était bonne, un peu trop cuite mais rien de wow pour 47$ la pièce. Les deux assiette étaient disparatre, ma femme n'avait pas de champignon pourtant présent dans la mienne, mais une énorme quantité d'une sorte d'oignon déshydraté fris ! Les cocktail étaient bon, mais quelle surprise de trouver un morceau conséquent de papier de ticket de caisse au fond de mon verre. Le serveur me remplace le verre & la gérante nous l'offre mais le nouveau verre est presque dépourvu d'alcool... Point positif, la gérante est venue personnellement s'excuser pour le désagrément. Une facture de 220$ (20% de pourvoir laissé car mérité pour le service) aucunement à la hauteur de l'expérience. J'avais de bons souvenir du Keg...décevant !View more

On of my colleagues order a steack on his caesar salad as a special order....You would think that they would pay attention to a special order.... but he got his steak on a difference salad, he did not waste it & neither would I but for a restaurant for this class attention is key..
