Favorote steakhouse to visit when in Canada. My wife & I have been to quite a few Toronto locations, & it's always been great! At first glance, the restaurant looks nice. Once at our table, we noticed the lighting was very low. To the point we could barely read the menus. b
But I guess they do it for the ambiance. The table was so small we it barely held the menus. But, we tried to enjoy the night anyway. Initially, we no one was sitting beside us, so it was ok. But, they ended up sitting another couple beside us, & that was where the issues came in. We were so close to each other that I could hear the guy breathing! You would think we came in together. Made me very uncomfortable. The service was ok, but the waitress didn't explain menu options well. So, we ended up double ordering. & what we thought was included in one meal wasn't. But, it was the table size & location that was horrible. The food was good, though.View more

For a steak house, the presentation & cooking of the prime rib was about as bad as I have seen. I asked for medium rare & it came out looking like it had been microwaved. There was no attention on the presentation of the steak. There was a huge, flaccid, white piece of fat that has nothing to do with adding flavour. Even when I asked for it to be re cooked, it was badly presented on the plate. The cheesecake was too dry. Very average food, dreadful presentation of the signature dish....it will be my last time in a Keg Steakhouse.View more

Terrace seating was great, the service was very attentive, thanks Félix (2)👍 The downside was the steak, contrefilet cut was 1/2 inch not what I expected for Keg. In my opinion steak at a steakhouse should be min 1in cuts.View more

HIER SOIR AVEC DES AMIS NOUS AVONS DINER AU BAR TOUT PRES DE LA CUSINE. EN ENTRANT NOUS AVONS REMAQUER VOTRE Annonce DE GUIDILLE AU HOMARD. Avec un bonne bière Sur quatre trois on choisi la guédille. Quelle déceptions Pain Hot Dog couper aux extrémités Pas de salade au fond du pain , Pain Détremper & pire encore IL Y AVAIT PLUS DE GORBERGE QUE DE HOMARD. QUELLE DECEPTION. BIEN QUE LA SERVEUSE NOUS A CREDITER UNE GUEDILLE & OFFER UN DESSERT IL EST INAXCEPTABLE DE D'AFFICHER UNE GUEDILLE HOMARD QUI EN REALITE A 28.00 N'EN ETAIT PAS UNE . I don't think there are enough stars to give this steakhouse the rating it deserves. The total package is simply amazing. As an international steak critique, I cannvouch that the folks know how to cook their meats! Value for money portions & the Billy Miner dessert was delightful. Our hostess Silvie is an absolute sweetheart & the top of my charts in this continent. Book ahead as it does get busy.View more

Une valeur sur lorsque qu'on veut un bon steak & une soirée en amoureux. Le service est selon ta chance. Tu peux savoir un serveur d'expérience qui comprend le niveau de service attendu dans un steakhouse repas servi chaud, vin qu'on laisse aéré sans vidé toute la bouteille dans ton 1e verre... Donc malheureusement, le service est à vous risque & péril mais généralement on est bien servi. Si vous détectez que votre serveur manque d'expérience commandé les entrée & seulement après votre plat principal aussi non, vous mangerez un steak froid... Hi hi bon appétit!View more
The food was great as usual, I would definitely recommend trying it if you have never been. The prices are what you expect for a steakhouse. After years of going to The keg, the atmosphere has changed. The lighting is brightened & the music is loud, it gives a dive bar atmosphere, where the music is played loudly to the point you cannot hear the person across from you speak.View more

The food is as great as the one downtown on Place Ville-Marie. We've tried the chicken wings appetizer it was just delightful. Our guests enjoyed it & will come back. One of the best steakhouses in the region of Montreal.
Tout était excellent, un sans faute! La côte de boeuf au jus était carrément fondante & les crevettes gratinées présentaient vraiment une cuisson parfaite. Décor trendy, serveur connaissant bien ses produits & bonne cuisine. Mis à part l'interminable attente pour une table le samedi soir (1h45!!) & la facture quoiqu'un peu lourde (mais anticipée lors d'un repas de qualité dans un steakhouse), ça valait assurément la peine.
