I visited the restaurant a while back for a celebration, & I'm still thinking about it
Honestly it was amazing. If you're looking for a gastronomic experience that actually delivers on flavours, this place is a total gem.
The vibe is cozy, but the food is on another level. Everything is well-presented & full of detail. I was blown away by how every single bite was packed with flavor & perfectly balanced. It's easily one of my favourite places.
They use all seasonal & local Quebec products, which makes the experience feel even more special.I also have to mention the beers WOOW! Absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back. If you want an incredible local meal, this is a place to visit!!!
Honestly, fantastic restaurant. Attention to detail, local ingredients, creative cooking while still feeding you a proper meal. Menu changes every 2 months so there's a reason to come back!
Only thing lacking was a buzzy atmosphere on a Thursday night but the service more than made up for it as the chef personally came to out table multiple times to discuss the dishes & ask for out opinion.

Hands down, one of the single best & most memorable dining experiences I have ever had. If you are visiting Montreal, Terroirs is an absolute must. The four-course tasting menu was phenomenal, but what truly made the evening unforgettable was the people. The hospitality is on another level; our host, Mark, beautifully articulated the restaurant's philosophy, connecting us to their deep commitment to Quebec's local farmers & producers. We sat at the bar, & the chefs constantly engaged with us, making the dinner feel so interactive & special. You can feel the love & dedication in every single detail. We will 100% be back on our next trip!
Une expérience gastronomique exceptionnelle ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été transportés par l'ambiance chaleureuse & l'accueil attentionné. Le serveur nous a fait voyager à travers les saveurs du Québec, racontant avec passion l'histoire des produits soigneusement sélectionnés. Son amour pour la cuisine & son métier se ressent dans chaque détail du service. Chaque plat était un véritable hommage au terroir, sublimé par des accords parfaits. Une des plus belles expériences que j'ai vécues au restaurant ! Je recommande sans hésitation.
I was there for a work dinner on Dec 20 & Marc & his team treated us with such royalty & took the utmost care of us & explained every dish right down to the very detail. All of his ingredients are local & are carefully picked to match his creativity. I will definitely be back & can't wait for the next menu. Marc it was a pleasure meeting you & see your vision. Serena
This was one of the absolute best meals of my entire life! Every bite was flavored & textured to perfection. It's been a long time since I've had a meal that I was this surprised by. The chef, Victor was incredibly passionate & welcoming. He started the meal by showing us a platter displaying some of the raw produce they would be using that evening. He even had us try some of the raw fruits, herbs, & spices before starting the meal. Such a neat way to connect with your meal! The chef also took the time to carefully explain each dish on the menu to us. It was really neat to see the passion & attention to detail from the head chef directly to us as diners. We had the tasting experience with wine pairing & dessert, & also ordered an extra plate of the "scallop of the day". The scallop dish was scallop crudo made with local strawberries, strawberry vinegar, guanciale, & candied almonds. It was maybe the single best dish I've had in my entire life - I swear it almost made me cry. My girlfriend has Celiac disease, so she is strictly gluten-free. The staff were absolutely incredible with their accommodations to make the tasting menu gluten-free, without feeling like my girlfriend was "missing out" on any portion of the "regular" tasting menu with gluten. Her dishes were just as good as the "regular" gluten-containing dishes on the tasting menu. Even for my dishes, they separated most of the gluten-containing elements (such as fried croquettes) so that she could try some of my dish without risk of cross-contamination. We are visiting from the US, & after the meal the chef & his team even took time to chat with us & write down ~a dozen recommendations for other lunch/dinner options in Montreal. It was a small gesture, but really showed the team's appreciation for their customer, & their attention to detail. Overall, I cannot recommend this place highly enough! My girlfriend & I spent the entire meal amazed at each bite. The portions were generous for a tasting menu, & the price was excellent for the quality, even with the wine pairing & dessert. They have only been open for 2 months, but there is something VERY special going on at Terroirs Restaurant. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Montreal.
I discovered the place by chance & I am so happy about it. The inside is charming, located in a new trendy neighborhood of Montreal. The food is amazing, prepared with details & love. & the staffs / owner are so motivated & welcoming. Definitely a place I recommend & I will go back.
Une très belle surprise, la truite & le porc était savoureux, ainsi que les légumes & champignons en accompagnements. Accueil & présentation très chaleureuses, avec tous les détails croustillants. On a passé un très bon moment & le dessert à la prune était succulent!
We had a great dinner at Terroirs: the food was excellent: real farm to table experience, a good mix between refined & hearty food, very well cooked & with incredibly fresh & tasteful ingredients. It was easy to spot the great talent of the young chef. The service was outstanding: one can see that the owners are really passionate about the restaurant & explained everything in detail. We've travelled round the world & we've been to many great restaurants (in including a few Michelin stars) & I think -given the talent & the youth of its team- that Terroirs has the potential to become one the best restaurants in Montreal.
