I recently visited this terrace, & honestly, the view alone is worth the trip. The atmosphere feels lively yet relaxed, with great music that sets the tone. The food is excellent, & the drinks are truly creative. You can tell the bartenders put real care into every glass. Service was top notch, too attentive, friendly, & smooth from start to finish. It's one of those places where, you just want to sit a while & take it all in✨🥂

We had a really nice meal overall, & the starters were definitely the highlight. We ordered the burrata & scallops, & both were excellent. Easily the best part of the meal.

For our mains, we went with the steaks. They were cooked exactly how we asked, but unfortunately they were pretty underwhelming compared to the starters. Not bad by any means, just more'meh' than we were expecting.

The biggest reason I wouldn't give 5 stars, though, was the service. Our waiter poured our water once when we sat down & didn't come back to refill it until we were getting the bill, & only after I directly asked. We also ordered a beer that never arrived, & we eventually had to circle back & ask about it.

What made this more noticeable was seeing the service at the other tables. Other staff seemed very attentive, leaving bottles of water for their groups so guests could refill them themselves & checking in regularly. We also received our starters without any cutlery, & when I asked for some, the response was a bit of a scoff, which didn't feel particularly welcoming.

Overall, the food had some real standouts, especially the starters, but the service was noticeably lacking & kept the experience from being a 5 star visit.

We had a wonderful evening at Terrasse William Gray. The rooftop is beautiful, the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, & the food was excellent from start to finish. The rosé Champagne, cocktails & every dish we ordered were delicious & beautifully presented.

We had to wait a few minutes for our table, but the team immediately welcomed us with a complimentary drink - a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the entire evening.

A special thank you to Rosemonde, who took outstanding care of us throughout the night. She was warm, attentive, professional & made us feel genuinely welcome. Even when we had a small issue with our credit card payment, she handled everything calmly & found an easy solution.

Outstanding service, fantastic food, breathtaking views over Montréal & great attention to detail. We would definitely come back & highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city.

We had such an amazing experience as guests of the hotel, & a huge part of that was because of Matteo.

We first met him at the rooftop bar on one of our first nights in Montreal. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, & made us feel like valued guests from the moment we sat down. The following night, we happened to see him again at the downstairs cocktail bar, & to our surprise, he immediately remembered us. That small gesture made such a lasting impression-it made us feel genuinely welcomed & appreciated.

Matteo has a natural ability to connect with people. His service was attentive, personable, & professional, but never forced. He went above & beyond to make our evenings memorable, & his positive attitude truly elevated our entire stay.

Employees like Matteo M. are the reason guests come back. He is an incredible asset to the hotel, & I sincerely hope his managers recognize the exceptional experience he provides. Thank you, Matteo, for helping make our anniversary trip to Montreal even more special. We can't wait to come back.

We had an amazing brunch at Terrasse William Gray! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were great, & the atmosphere & views were beautiful. The staff was friendly, attentive, & made the experience even better. Everything was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great rooftop brunch spot!

I recently attended a private company event, & it was an excellent experience. The venue was beautiful, the atmosphere was welcoming, & everything was very well organized.

A special thank you to Rose & Julia for their outstanding service. They were friendly, professional, & attentive throughout the event, making sure everyone was taken care of & enjoying themselves. Their positive attitude & attention to detail really stood out.

Excellent experience at Terrasse William Gray ! The service was outstanding, especially from our waitress Camille, who was incredibly knowledgeable about wines & gave us excellent recommendations throughout the evening.

We started with the plateau charcuterie, the burrata, & the truffle fries, all were absolutely delicious & perfect to share. For the mains, the burger was excellent, & the granola salad was surprisingly flavorful & very fresh.

Great atmosphere, amazing food, & truly attentive service. We'll definitely be back!

Our waitress Rose was amazing! We had some allergies & she was very attentive & personable. Very professional service & very friendly! Ask for Rose next time you visit!
