Nelligan Terrace is a top spot if you're looking for lively energy, stylish crowds, & stunning rooftop views. The atmosphere here is what really makes it: a retractable awning offers comfort whether you're enjoying the sun or hiding from a surprise rain shower, & the music is always popping, setting a vibrant tone without overwhelming conversation. It draws a young, attractive crowd, making it feel like a social scene worth checking out.
The food, however, is a mixed bag. The ceviche is definitely not what you'd expect if you're used to the bright, citrus-forward flavors of Mexican-style ceviche-it leans in a more neutral, subtle direction that might not satisfy traditional ceviche fans. The oysters are on the smaller side, but they pack solid flavor for their size. Skip the hummus-bland & forgettable. The chicken katsu sandwich is more of a classic fried chicken sandwich than a true katsu, but it's still tasty. The French fries are well-executed, crispy & seasoned just right, & the roasted butternut squash is a surprisingly solid choice if you're looking for a comforting side.
Drinks are another strong point here-well-balanced & thoughtfully made, perfect for enjoying while taking in the rooftop ambiance.
Overall, Nelligan Terrace is more about the experience & the setting than it is a foodie destination. That said, a few menu hits & good drinks keep it worth the visit. Just be sure to make a reservation-the place fills up quickly, & it's not one you'll want to miss.Voir plus

Yanis & henry are top notch! Amazing service & brings alot of fun in our experience. Only thing I have to say that was disappointing was the cheese platter. The price for 6 slices of cheese was outrageous & I thought someone had eaten off our plate but no was just like that. I've been coming to this terrasse for years now & always have an enjoyable time. The drinks are creative & well-made, & while the food portions are on the smaller side, the quality is consistently good.
Unfortunately, on our last visit, the experience was disappointing. The terrasse was clearly overbooked, with tables packed so tightly together that we had to physically move our table just to get to the washroom. We had no privacy whatsoever, & it was difficult to maintain a conversation without being distracted by the neighbouring tables' conversations, given the close proximity-barely even an arm's length away. The overall guest experience definitely suffered as a result. Space optimization is important, but not at the expense of guests' comfort & enjoyment.Voir plus

We had a wonderful brunch on the terrace, which offered a beautiful view of old Montreal & a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were super nice, & the service struck a perfect balance - relaxed yet efficient.
The food was delicious, full of flavor & beautifully presented. It was a truly relaxing experience & a perfect way to start off a Sunday.

Superb place, incredible & beautiful trendy setting, so I expected mediocre food & service, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our server, a young man from Paris, was phenomenal, & the food (we had the C$95 fixed price menu) was absolutely delicious, creative & plentiful. Le cadre est vraiment sympa, rien à redire sur le lieu lui-même ni sur l'accueil initial, les hôtesses qui nous ont placés ont été très professionnelles.
Malheureusement, l'expérience a été largement gâchée par le service par la suite.
Nos cocktails ont mis un temps fou à arriver… pour une bonne raison : la commande n'avait tout simplement pas été passée. Cerise sur le gâteau, on a découvert que c'était le plongeur, ou du moins la personne chargée de ranger les verres, qui était en train de les préparer. & on nous a confirmé qu'il ne faisait jamais les cocktails en temps normal.
À ce niveau de gamme, ce genre de situation est inacceptable. Nous sommes donc partis avant même d'avoir reçu nos consommations. Dommage, le lieu avait du potentiel.Voir plus
