As I stepped onto the rooftop, I was immediately captivated by the breathtaking views of the Old Port & the Notre-Dame Basilica. The ambiance was vibrant yet relaxed, making it the perfect setting for a memorable day.
The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive & friendly, ensuring that every need was met. I started with the ceviche, which was fresh & bursting with flavor, perfectly complemented by a refreshing cocktail. The menu offered a delightful variety of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, & I was particularly impressed by the grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection.
First time visiting Montreal & we decided to check out Terrasse Nelligan, definitely a great choice! It was a bit chilly out, but the vibe on the terrasse was still really nice. My wife & I had some awesome cocktails & the service was great & the price very reasonable. The valet Masta was very polite & funny, which made the whole experience even smoother from the moment we arrived.

Went in the evening & got a patio spot. Pretty cool night city view & attentive & friendly service. We got the Brut x Moet Champagne package with the seafood tower which I would honestly not recommend. For $320, you are better off ordering cocktails & appies (we were a group of 4)
Ce que j'ai aimé : Thomas & ses cocktails foufou el artistooo, Lucas le service à la hauteur de sa beauté ( = mannequin ), ensuite que dire du mr en costard : Alonzo alias Papi... muchas gracias ! Anyway je reviendrai, très bonne terrasse.. un peu trop de guêpes par contre...
Encore une très belle visite sur cette terrasse, mention spéciale pour le service Lucas notre serveur ainsi que Thomas pour les cocktails & Alonzo pour son rôle de supervision !!
We enjoyed ourselves on our day of arrival to Montreal. Louise was our server & was super friendly, & brought us a sample of the cocktail flavor we had questions about.- which we so appreciated. She also instantly replaced my wine when a moth flew into it. It was a fun evening!

We came here for dinner & had the chance to enjoy the full sunset - the view & atmosphere were absolutely amazing! 🌇 Terrasse Nelligan is definitely one of the best spots in the city for drinks, the cocktails & appetizers were both excellent & really set the mood.
That said, I wouldn't strongly recommend it for dinner if you hungry. We ordered beef, but unfortunately had to wait more than 30 minutes for the main course, which was a bit disappointing.
Other than the long wait, everything else was great. I would still highly recommend coming here, especially to watch the sunset with a drink in hand - it's a beautiful & memorable experience.
My sister & I had a wonderful experience last week at Terrasse Nelligan. Our server, Malak, was especially delightful, friendly, & helpful! We enjoyed the terrace atmosphere, a delicious salad, & a St. Germaine cocktail (which was new to us) recommended by Malak . I highly recommend Terrasse Nelligan!
Fantastic rooftop views & food worth coming back for. Expertly shucked oysters, & exceptional cocktails. We came early, so the service was awesome. Our server was relatively new but very attentive & knowledgeable. I'd recommend getting there earlier to nab a table by the water view!

Nice for a few cocktails during the week 4ish. The food is not as good as the view but OK. Saturday brunch has a DJ that creates a lively atmosphere but is actually too loud to talk to the people you are with.
Le cadre est vraiment sympa, rien à redire sur le lieu lui-même ni sur l'accueil initial, les hôtesses qui nous ont placés ont été très professionnelles.
Malheureusement, l'expérience a été largement gâchée par le service par la suite.
Nos cocktails ont mis un temps fou à arriver… pour une bonne raison : la commande n'avait tout simplement pas été passée. Cerise sur le gâteau, on a découvert que c'était le plongeur, ou du moins la personne chargée de ranger les verres, qui était en train de les préparer. & on nous a confirmé qu'il ne faisait jamais les cocktails en temps normal.
À ce niveau de gamme, ce genre de situation est inacceptable. Nous sommes donc partis avant même d'avoir reçu nos consommations. Dommage, le lieu avait du potentiel.
The atmosphere is great & the cocktails are amazing, but the service is extremely slow, especially for the amount of staff present & the hostesses were very rude.

A la fois chic & décontractée, la terrasse nous a charmé. Le service était impeccable & les cocktails trés bon! Mention spéciale pour le passion & amour, un vrai délice. Si vous cherchez une place pour les 5@7 avec vos collègues ou un endroit pour retrouver vos amis autour d'un verre c'est la place où aller!

Nice atmosphere, excellent service & view. Cocktails & mocktails are really good but I cannot say that the food impressed me. I expected better for this kind of place
I don't mean to be a kill joy but this place is vastly over rated & over priced. It's nice & mildly above average because of its location & retractable roof that lets you enjoy the terrace rain or shine. The service is plentiful & friendly. My rating regarding food is a little off because we didn't eat. We only had drinks, so that's what I'm eating. The cocktails on their menu, beer, & wine are the only drinks they do well. If you order a typical bar drink (ie an Old Fashion) you will be disappointed by an unbalanced watery drink. I think the ice that was used in the shaker was dumped out in the glass because when the drink was brought over the color was very light.
When people post about the stunning views, I wonder where they were looking? Again it's nice. Average. Please save the word stunning for more appropriate usage. Overall review: Nice view, good vibe, over prized drinks, pleasant service. Would I return? No. Was I unhappy? No.
This place used to be my go-to terrace during hot summer days around the old port.
The rooftop ambiance is great, & it's located in the heart of the old port Montréal. However, lately, it feels like the prices went up while the quality of the food significantly decreased. We spent 80$ for ordered a plate of shrimp bao & 2 cocktails, & it was really disappointing. Knowing it's more of a rooftop/bar, my expectations were not high, but to be honest, I don't know how they can serve a dish this mediocre to that price. The bread was nothing like a real bao, & it had one shrimp in each.
Drinks are a bit pricy, but they are somewhat justifiable, given the location & the rooftop ambiance. Good for drinks & maybe a nice stop by during a date night, but I would stay away from the food.

The rooftop bar had a pleasant atmosphere, & our waitress was friendly & welcoming. However, the experience was marred by a significant bee problem-one bee even died in one of our cocktails, & another got trapped in a different drink. When the manager noticed an issue, he initially approached the table next to us rather than directly addressing ours, despite the visible problem we were experiencing. When he eventually inquired if everything was okay, we raised our concerns about the bee situation. Instead of taking responsibility or offering any meaningful assistance, he responded in a condescending tone, as though it wasn't his fault & he couldn't do anything to improve the situation. The manager's lack of engagement was disappointing; he appeared more attentive to other tables, particularly those with white patrons, while showing no initiative to resolve the issue at our table. When we politely requested to switch tables to an area with fewer bees, he dismissed the idea, insisting that the bees would still follow us, which was clearly inaccurate based on other areas in the bar. His attitude was not only arrogant & downright negligent but also displayed a concerning lack of understanding about the potential health risks associated with bee stings, especially for patrons who may have severe allergies. His dismissive & indifferent approach toward our experience reflected poorly on the establishment's overall service.
