I visited ciel rose on 25/07/25. It was my first time going. We had a reservation for 2 at 9:30 but unfortunately we arrived late because we had trouble finding parking & also finding the establishment. I'll say that it is not easy to find & also to get to the rooftop. Upon arriving we made our way to dining area inside where a young man in black with curly hair was. We asked for directions to rooftop. He asked us if we had a reservation & we said yes. He guided us to the rooftop & we were on our way. Upon arriving at the rooftop there was no one to greet us. We waited about 5 minutes not really knowing what to do. We asked a busboy that had braids if there's someone who could help us. He then told us to go see the manager by pointing to him. I was very taken aback as this was my first time here & I didn't feel comfortable going up to a manager & I couldn't even tell to who he was pointing to.. I told him so no one can help us? There's no one to greet us? He said I don't know what to tell you… he was very rude! He said that usually they greet us at the dining area for reservations & I told him that we told the guy we had a reservation & he just told us to go to the rooftop. Turns out the guy we saw in the beginning at the dining area was the manager. We told him we had a reservation but we are late & he went to check if there was tables available. He didn't really look or help to be honest. He said we could stay standing & wait for a table or go to Zuma which I didn't know what he was taking about. We decided to stand at the bar. I'll say that the drinks were very good & the music & atmosphere was great. The Dj did a great job! After about 45 minutes of standing & we saw a table available we asked a nice gentleman with a white polo that seemed like another manager if we could go to the empty table. He brought us to the table & cleaned it for us. He was very nice. Besides the rude encounter with the busboy & the first manager we would definitely go back!
Terrace was a bit smaller than I expected. Still decorated very nicely. No A/C or fans so it does tend to get really hot, especially on days where it is more packed. Service was nice & the drinks were also good. Music was loud so it's hard to hear the person next to you.

My friends & I recently visited Terrasse Ciel Rose in Montreal, & unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. To start, the service was mediocre. The servers seemed to have no experience or sense of customer service. We had to ask to order our first drinks, that took 30 minutes to arrive to the table. We ordered a bottle of Rum that never came, only to be told that we would have to be moved to another table because we didn't meet the spending expectations (which we would have met if the service was adequate & faster). The Kitchen staff has limited experience. Very basic food & small portions, especially for the price. It took at least 30 minutes to receive some chips & guacc. Never received the tacos after an hour, we canceled the order & left. The only redeeming factor of this place is that it is located on a terrace, providing a nice outdoor setting with a pleasing aesthetic. Overall, I would not recommend Terrasse Ciel Rose based on our experience, it is not worth the hype.

Premièrement, nous avions une réservation à 19 h 30. Nous avons dû attendre 30 minutes sur le boulevard Saint-Laurent, car notre table n'était pas prête. Nous avons commandé un verre, auquel je donne une note de 2,5. Mon mojito était beaucoup trop amer. Nous avons ensuite commandé notre nourriture. Une heure trente plus tard, on nous a expliqué qu'il y avait eu un problème en cuisine, ce que je peux comprendre en cas de forte affluence. Nous avons été très compréhensives envers la situation, mais nous étions venus pour manger. Aucune compensation alimentaire ne nous a été offerte, pas même des tortillas pour atténuer notre appétit. Nous avons dû patienter & avons finalement reçu nos plats à 22 h 15. Les plats étaient corrects, mais après avoir attendu si longtemps, notre patience était épuisée. Notre jeune serveuse était très sympathique & avait beaucoup d'empathie envers la situation. Cependant, nous avons dû la déranger à quelques reprises pour savoir où en étaient nos plats. De plus, nous étions très collés à notre table & souhaitions changer de place. Pour tous ces points, notre serveuse allait voir le gérant, mais en aucun cas celui-ci n'est venu nous voir, ce qui est très décevant de la part d'un gérant. Nous ne voulions pas blâmer la serveuse car nous comprenions que la situation était hors de son contrôle. Nous sommes restés professionnels envers elle, car il était évident que celle ci était très malaisé de la situation. Après avoir demandé trois fois un simple verre d'eau, nous avons finalement négocié, par principe, une légère compréhension, un léger « dédommagement ». Nous avions demandé un drink afin de nous "satisfaire" de cette longue attente. Une autre serveuse est arrivée 20 minutes plus tard avec un « shooter » de Malibu. Assez ordinaire pour un groupe de 4 femmes qui étaient venu passe une belle soirée. Je dois quand même dire que l'endroit est très beau, le DJ excellent, mais le personnel manque beaucoup d'expérience. Il y a beaucoup de potentiel à cet endroit, avec un très beau visuel de la terrasse & un bel emplacement en centre-ville. Toutefois, il est fortement conseillé à l'équipe de faire un meeting pour améliorer le service. Rapport Qualité prix "correcte" mais 3 tacos pour un plat..... ce n'est pas assez.
Je suis allée pour souper le 15 septembre 2023 & on a pas reçu notre commande de nourriture après de très longue attente ils nous on dit que le four ne fonctionnait pas donc impossible de manger seulement des tortillas au menu & au départ seulement 3 choix de disponible sur le menu ...ce n est pas un resto mais une terrasse pour prendre un drink avec musique bel ambiance mais aller pas pour mange
Drinks were crazy good. I rate the expérience low because .. seriously, who would put a table behind the DJ, big tree where we can't enjoy the vibe. It really putted the mood down. At least we were able to get another table but almost as if it was a hard thing to do ... It seems like a nice place but I don't think we'll come back
