Overall the food was very good, & at a most reasonable price. The best dishes we sampled were the crab rolls, the crispy noodles, the General Tao's chicken, & the beef with basil. The spring rolls & the pad Thai were rather ordinary, & the Tom Yum soup was not good at all, but we will definitely return to order new dishes. Service was a bit disorganized, but the dishes did come out fairly quickly, & everyone was most friendly.
The food was incredible, both in price & taste. However, the restaurant seemed to be under staffed or overbooked. My partner's meal came 40 minutes before mine, which was pretty inconvenient. That being said, the servers were very attentive & kind, when they could find a moment for us, while also clearly being extremely hard working, but it seemed just too much. This unfortunately affected the overall experience. I look forward to giving it another shot & hopefully things go a little smoother.
This delightful restaurant offers many dishes from the northern part of Vietnam-a unique menu that stands out in the city. During our visit, we tried a variety of delicious & abundant plates that truly showcased a depth of flavors & textures. Each dish was prepared with care, & we were impressed by the freshness of the ingredients. The ambiance is equally captivating, featuring intricate & beautiful art from a young Vietnamese artist that adds to the space's charm. It creates a lovely backdrop for enjoying a meal. The combination of delicious dishes, a welcoming atmosphere, & decor makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Vietnamese cuisine in Montreal.
Food was really good, however the restaurant itself is disorganized. We were seated & waited over 35 mins before I had to flag the waiter down to order. We waited an hour for water. But once the food came it was hot & fresh. So be prepared to wait a long time for your meal but when it arrives it will be fresh & tasty
This is the only restaurant we know that offers combo Canh Chua & Ca Kho & it's amazing. It takes a while for it to be prepared so order this first, but worth waiting for it. The sticky rice ice cream is a must! We look forward to coming back again.
