vietnamese(114) dishes(45) authentic(42) banh(39) roll(38) recommend(35) rice(30) pho(28) pork(25) soup(24) beef(23) sauce(22)Lets start with the good stuff. I like the crab imperial roll. The wrapper is crunchy & the mouthfeel is great. The taste is great too. Something new but overall great. The vibe is also good. I like the addition of the basket tray. It adds to the Vietnamese vibe of the restaurant. The food that we got is alright in my opinion. A little too expensive for what I got. I'm talking about the Pho that I got. The portion is small considering it's a $20 dish. The flavor of the soup is average. I had better one's that has larger portion & great tasting broth. Another one is the Grilled dish. Again a little too expensive for the small portion that we got. Overall I'd give it a 3 star since it fed us nicely but overpriced.
I stopped by this resto last week or so & now all I want is to come back & have another meal here! The food was wonderful, service was great & it has a nice interior. I can't wait to come by again.
Edit; I came back again today & just wanted to say that there was a new staff, & he made the best iced tea. I will definetly be ordering that again, thank you ☺?!
I had the peanut Chicken with crispy spinach. It was delicious .
Service was excellent. Staff speaks Vietnamese, English, & French. Food is as good as it gets specifically banh cuon.
Their food taste good that's why once in a while I will still order from them even though it's a bit pricy on the delivery app.
However, today was a little disappointed for me. When I received the delivery, the sauce lid already shrunk & the sauce was leaking through the bag. I assumed it was overheated as the plastic lid was twisted & shrunk in a weird way. Despite that, I don't mind it & still enjoyed the delicious rice roll & grilled pork. However, half way eating the rice roll, there's another small broken plastic lid that I was pulling out of my mouth as it's wrapped inside the rice roll, & the plastic looked slightly melted too. Not sure how much plastics were leaked into my food but this is definitely not a good experience for me but I understand this could be once in a blue moon mistake.
Good Vietnamese food! We tried many different dishes & everything was great. Good service. Recommend!
Authentic Vietnamese food from the North. Excellent quality / price. We will be back.
We recently visited T'ami Vietnamese Restaurant in Montreal, & it was the perfect prelude to our upcoming Vietnamese honeymoon. The food felt wholesome, comforting, & beautifully prepared just the kind of cooking that makes you feel taken care of.
We started with the bánh cu?n (steamed rice rolls). The delicate rice sheets were silky & light, topped with crispy shallots for just the right crunch. Paired with tender grilled meat, slices of pork sausage, & fresh herbs, it all came together with a dipping sauce that was both savory & slightly sweet balanced & addictive.
The bánh xèo (Vietnamese sizzling pancake) was another highlight. Golden, crisp on the outside, yet soft inside, it was generously filled & paired with fresh lettuce, herbs, & bean sprouts. Wrapping each bite & dipping it in the light fish sauce made every mouthful exciting & refreshing.
We also tried the pad thai while a Thai classic, it was prepared with a Vietnamese touch here. The noodles had a lovely chew, the sauce was tangy with just the right hint of sweetness, & the crunch of peanuts on top tied it all together.
Overall, T'ami gave us a beautiful glimpse into the warmth of Vietnamese cuisine. Each dish felt carefully made, with flavors that were vibrant yet comforting. It truly set the mood for our upcoming travels we left feeling satisfied, happy, & even more excited to experience Vietnam soon.
Very authentic Vietnamese food in a chic Le Plateau neighborhood (perfect for lunch or dinner after shopping). The friendly staffs also make you feel like your visit is to an acquaintances' place to try their home cooking
The owner/cooks are from Hanoi & you can taste it in their cooking. To all my Vietnamese friends, they have lòng d?i / bánh cu?n / d?i huy?t n??ng as weekend-only-specials so plan your trip accordingly ... T'ami is worth rescheduling for :)
So good! You can see that's family owned! Love that. Portion are huge & very tasty.
