Went here for Valentine's day, staff was very friendly & the owner was talkative. They know how to make traditional Vietnamese meal & it shows, highly recommend! Glad I could also practice my Vietnamese with the staff!
Many Vietnamese restaurants are similar, but this one is a little bit different. They have Vietnamese rice rolls! This is a traditional delicacy in Hanoi. The soft & chewy rice rolls are filled with fragrant black fungus, mushrooms & minced pork. Plus some fried onions & then dip them in diluted fish sauce. The originally dry rice rolls become moist & add a hint of flavor. This item is only available on the menu from Friday to Sunday!

If there were 10 stars, I'd definitely give it to T'ami. My families are from North & their cooking is more north style & I could not find any in my town. Found this Vietnamese restaurant on google & gave it a try because they have North dishes on menu Totally worth it the travel lol ! The restaurant decoration was amazing & cosy. The owner (Im sorry I didnt ask your name) was super friendly & talked to us before we left. We order Bun Cha Ha Noi & Bun Dau Mam Tom. Excellent choices - we focused to eat too much & didnt even talk to each other lol Highly recommend to everyone!
This is amazingly delicious! I tasted so many dishes from the menu & it's safe to say that every plate is FLAVOURFUL, AUTHENTIC & PERFECT. If you want to try new dishes, other than Pho or Banh Mi, T'Ami is highly recommended. A must visit for Vietnamese food lovers! Great customer service.
Món an Việt Nam rất ngon và phù hợp với tất cả mọi người. Không cay, không mặn, rất vừa an và rất dạm chất quê hương Việt Nam. Vietnamese Food but Quebec style. It's very delicious & suitable to every body. Cuisine vietnamienne mais à la québécoise. C'est très délicieux & convient à tout le monde
This delightful restaurant offers many dishes from the northern part of Vietnam-a unique menu that stands out in the city. During our visit, we tried a variety of delicious & abundant plates that truly showcased a depth of flavors & textures. Each dish was prepared with care, & we were impressed by the freshness of the ingredients. The ambiance is equally captivating, featuring intricate & beautiful art from a young Vietnamese artist that adds to the space's charm. It creates a lovely backdrop for enjoying a meal. The combination of delicious dishes, a welcoming atmosphere, & decor makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Vietnamese cuisine in Montreal.

Beautiful food, beautiful people! Delicious Vietnamese restaurant with a perfect blend of authenticity & modern ambiance. We did not have a reservation & in spite of everything being booked, they managed to carve out a place for us. Food was delish, service was quick & attentionate. Warm ambiance overall, modern decor but food is homie, authentic & flavorful.
Tami's story is as authentic as its dishes. The founder explored Vietnam, tasting & perfecting recipes to bring the essence of the country's cuisine right here to Montreal. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, rich in taste, & felt like a comforting, home-cooked meal. The customer service was unmatched. They even offered me a cup of hot water to warm up & checked if I needed the heating adjusted. After our meal, they made sure we loved our experience & welcomed any feedback. It's clear that customer satisfaction is at the heart of Tami. So if you're craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine with impeccable service, Tami Restaurant should be at the top of your list. Meals we had: - 🍤 8. Banh Tôm Ha Nai (2) - Hanoi style crispy shrimps pasty - 🍜 53: BÚN BÒ HUẾ (spicy)Hue Spicy Beef Noodle Soup - 🐟 59. The food was pretty good however I don't believe the value is there as it is pretty pricey compared to other Vietnamese Restaurant places I've been. Where it falls the most here is service. While they are polite when you catch their attention, they didn't serve us water at the start & we had to ask for it right before we received our meal & the same for napkins. They also made mistakes on the order & the bill. Recommend to reduce the amount of tables, maybe the ones close to the door as there's a cold draft every time someone goes in or out, so you can have better service.
This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Montreal. Service impeccable. Price is reasonable. We will back for sure. Back today, we tried new special "Chicken 6 dishes". Very good. Recommended.
Came all the way from New York for a short weekend getaway, & we ended up going to T'ami twice -- that's how good this place is. Try everything if you have the capacity. My advice is to call the shop ahead & order the 6-course chicken combo. It's the best Viet food you could possibly get in North America, & this is coming from a Vietnamese. Or you can ask the owner herself for recommendations-- she is one sweet lady!
I went with a group of Vietnamese friends & got to say if you want to taste authentic Northern cuisine, this is the place. It is not close but it is the taste. There is a special dish called "Gà Lên Mâm" which you need to call one day in-advance to let the restaurant know to prepare. It's a must try. Worth it!

The best Northern Vietnamese restaurant overseas! All the food we ordered such as tasted so authentic. Nem cua be is literally the best in the world with the owner's recipe. Dồi sụn, bún chả, bún dậu mắm tôm, bánh cuốn Thanh Trì, bánh tôm are all so yummy. Bánh xèo is the highlight of the night. It is so crispy & thin just the way it has to be. The sauce is homemade & catered to each dish. We finished everything. It is rare to find a Northern style restaurant so you must try it!
I am Vietnamese living in Canada, today I had a wonderful first experience at the Vietnamese restaurant - T'ami. I accidentally learned about this Vietnamese restaurant through the Facebook of Ms. Tam, the restaurant owner, even though we were not Facebook friends before. After reading a few of her good articles about the restaurant, I was curious to try it. Because I think that people who write well can cook well 😂 & indeed Ms. Tam did not disappoint me with the dishes she cooked. I ordered Bun Dau Mam Tom & my friend ate Banh Hoi Thit Nuong. Wow. I can't describe it, the taste is 95% similar to the same dish sold in Vietnam. You know, the ingredients for Vietnamese dishes are not easy to find in Canada. So people often have to choose similar ingredients. Especially the noodles here, Ms. Tam made 100% similar to those in Vietnam. For dessert, I chose fried banana cake. It was very fragrant & delicious. Next time I will try rice rolls, crab spring rolls, shrimp cakes.... One thing that makes me want to write a review right away is that Ms. Tam is very cute when serving customers. She is very gentle, thoughtful & enthusiastic. So I am very satisfied & asked for permission to take a photo with her. Thank you Ms. Tam & T'ami for giving me emotional experiences with delicious Vietnamese food.❤️❤️❤️
T'ami Restaurant serves up traditional Vietnamese food that's definitely worth trying. Their weekend special, Bánh Cuốn (61), is super tasty & worth the wait. The Bún Dậu Mắm Tôm (51) was also delicious. Both the Cá Kho & Canh Chua were on point. We enjoyed everything traditional we tried. Portions were a bit small, which is pretty common in Vietnamese restaurants. Service was a bit slow, but the vibes were great & there's plenty of parking on a one-way street.
This is a decent Vietnamese restaurant near Italian town. When looking at the menu prior to my trip to Montreal, I was so excited to get here & it was the first stop for our trip. The selection of menu was incredibly special. The offering is Northern Vietnamese food & these special dishes are really hard to find at any different Vietnamese restaurant. Bun Cha Ha Noi - is also called Obama noodle because President Obama had it when he was in Vietnam. Besides the grilled pork, the hardest thing in my opinion is the sauce, which was good here. The only that bothered me is how small the portion is. We had to order extra meat for my daughter. Bun Dau Mam Tom - I have high expectation for a very authentic Vietnamese disk so I was not impressed with their Bun Dau Mam Tom. It normally comes with pork intestine. Where is my pork intestine? Haha Again the portion is also very small. Nem be which is similar to spring roll was also something we called at the end when everyone was still hungry. In my opinion, it is a bit expensive for the food & the portions are small.
I haven't been back home to California in 3 years, this is the first time I've had Vietnamese food this good. It's truly special & incredibly delicious. Everything about this spot is authentic. Having lived on the east coast for the past 3 yrs, nothing compares to here. Would highly recommend the avocado smoothie. Made my heart feel full & comforted me so much. Thank you!
