Les avis convergent sur T'ami comme une adresse vietnamienne authentique et chaleureuse, avec une carte riche et généreuse allant des pho et bun cha Hanoi aux nems au crabe, rouleaux impériaux et banh xeo, et des spécialités nord vietnamiennes qui surprennent par leur authenticité et leurs sauces équilibrées. De nombreux plats sont décrits comme savoureux et bien présentés, le service est souvent chaleureux et attentif, l'ambiance conviviale et le décor agréable invitant à revenir. Le rapport qualité prix est généralement favorable compte tenu des portions et de la diversité, et le BYOW est apprécié. Quelques retours évoquent des périodes d'attente et des lenteurs lors des heures de pointe, mais les saveurs restent le point fort et T'ami se démarque par son caractère maison et son approche vietnamienne traditionnelle. En somme, c'est une belle découverte à Montréal pour une expérience vietnamienne riche et savoureuse.
I visited as a tourist, thinking Montreal being a French city would have many authentic Vietnamese restaurants. I found this highly-rated Vietnamese restaurant online & decided to try it. I ordered the classic pho, but was quite disappointed.
First, The broth wasn't hot enough, which meant the raw bean sprouts stayed raw (I had actually ordered cooked sprouts but the server seemed to forget & gave me raw ones anyway).
Second, this was the only pho I've ever had that didn't include basil leaves - the broth only contained green onions, red onions, & bean sprouts.
Third, the restaurant isn't as authentic as people claimed online.
The only positive thing was the decent meat quality.Overall, I can't recommend this place.
Excellent restaurant vietnamien ! La nourriture est délicieuse, authentique & pleine de saveurs. Un gros coup de coeur pour l'accueil : le personnel est vraiment gentil, chaleureux & attentionné. On se sent tout de suite à l'aise. Une belle découverte que je recommande vivement !

We had a reservation at 6h30 PM saturday & everything was delicious. It was perfect & we can feel the love put onto the quality of the food chosen, the service & the hospitality. There were no pressure to leave the table & we took the time to eat & to enjoy the desertssss. Everything was sooo perfect & so authentic vietnamese, can't wait to go back again! 11/10 I will recommend the Bun cha Ha noi (i loved the meat cha it was really lean & loved their fish sauce) 🤤 Thanks for the excellent food!
Nous étions un groupe de 5 avec une réservation samedi à 18:00. Le resto s'est vite rempli, nous confirmant qu'on avait choisit un bon restaurant pour célébrer mon anniversaire de naissance. Plusieurs personnes ont été refusés par l'hôtesse, n'ayant pas pris de réservation. L'accueil & le service étaient courtois & rapide. La table d'hôte a été choisie par plusieurs personne de notre du groupe. La quantité & la qualité de nourriture servie fut au delà de nos attentes. Le prix est raisonnable. Nous avons fait une très belle découverte & nous y retournerons définitivement. Je recommande ce resto, mais faites votre réservation, vous ne serez pas déçu.
Cute little Viet restaurant, I love it. The service is warm. The dishes are very special. The flavors are incredible. Must try if you are in the area. We will go back to try other dishes.
I recommend the crab meat fried roll & the banh cuon.
Went here for Valentine's day, staff was very friendly & the owner was talkative. They know how to make traditional Vietnamese meal & it shows, highly recommend! Glad I could also practice my Vietnamese with the staff!

got a last minute reservation for st-valentines 2025 when it was fully booked, had to just come a bit earlier, food & service as always was the best [ KIEN was our waiter ], a big thank you for all, strongly recommended, YES !
Food was great & tasty. , the sequence for ordering & get the full service was a challenge for the team. Very disorganized. But I recommend the restaurant. It worth every penny spent.
Excellente place si vous voulez découvrir la nourriture vietnamienne avec authenticité. Les plats sont savoureux, les ingrédients sont frais, les plats sont bien présentés. Je recommande chaudement.
If there were 10 stars, I'd definitely give it to T'ami. My families are from North & their cooking is more north style & I could not find any in my town. Found this Vietnamese restaurant on google & gave it a try because they have North dishes on menu Totally worth it the travel lol ! The restaurant decoration was amazing & cosy. The owner (Im sorry I didnt ask your name) was super friendly & talked to us before we left. We order Bun Cha Ha Noi & Bun Dau Mam Tom. Excellent choices - we focused to eat too much & didnt even talk to each other lol Highly recommend to everyone!

This is amazingly delicious! I tasted so many dishes from the menu & it's safe to say that every plate is FLAVOURFUL, AUTHENTIC & PERFECT. If you want to try new dishes, other than Pho or Banh Mi, T'Ami is highly recommended. A must visit for Vietnamese food lovers! Great customer service.
The food was pretty good however I don't believe the value is there as it is pretty pricey compared to other Vietnamese Restaurant places I've been. Where it falls the most here is service. While they are polite when you catch their attention, they didn't serve us water at the start & we had to ask for it right before we received our meal & the same for napkins. They also made mistakes on the order & the bill. Recommend to reduce the amount of tables, maybe the ones close to the door as there's a cold draft every time someone goes in or out, so you can have better service.
This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Montreal. Service impeccable. Price is reasonable. We will back for sure. Back today, we tried new special "Chicken 6 dishes". Very good. Recommended.

I haven't been back home to California in 3 years, this is the first time I've had Vietnamese food this good. It's truly special & incredibly delicious. Everything about this spot is authentic. Having lived on the east coast for the past 3 yrs, nothing compares to here. Would highly recommend the avocado smoothie. Made my heart feel full & comforted me so much. Thank you!
Un samedi midi, peu achalandé le service a été efficace, recommande fortement le bun dau mam tom & banh cuon :) les plats étaient soignés, très goûtus, avec les herbes aromatiques comme il se doit !
Coming from a 5 hours drive from NY. It was our first time at T'ami, what a wonderful first impression from the well decorated atmosphere to the well flavor foods. My favorite was Bun Dậu mắm tôm, it came with enough toppings, the sauce was just right ( not too salty or sweet) the only thing that I'm not use to is not having the rice paper( bánh tráng) . I usually eat this with rice paper in the past but they give us plenty of vegetables so it's a plus. Café sữa dá was fantastic, Nem cua be was delicious & well flavored. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal. Plus the owner & staffs were super nice & friendly 😍. We will definitely come back when we're in Montreal next time. Highly recommended.
