Les avis convergent sur T'ami comme une adresse vietnamienne authentique et chaleureuse, avec une carte riche et généreuse allant des pho et bun cha Hanoi aux nems au crabe, rouleaux impériaux et banh xeo, et des spécialités nord vietnamiennes qui surprennent par leur authenticité et leurs sauces équilibrées. De nombreux plats sont décrits comme savoureux et bien présentés, le service est souvent chaleureux et attentif, l'ambiance conviviale et le décor agréable invitant à revenir. Le rapport qualité prix est généralement favorable compte tenu des portions et de la diversité, et le BYOW est apprécié. Quelques retours évoquent des périodes d'attente et des lenteurs lors des heures de pointe, mais les saveurs restent le point fort et T'ami se démarque par son caractère maison et son approche vietnamienne traditionnelle. En somme, c'est une belle découverte à Montréal pour une expérience vietnamienne riche et savoureuse.
This place looked promising with all of the 5 stars, & when we arrived we had great service & were quickly seated. Our tea was spilled over the table because of the way they place the filter. The food arrived promptly, but lacked authenticity. It felt very "american food chain" & less flavourful, sort of plain. It looked like frozen vegetables in the meals. The cauliflower, celery, carrots, green peppers all had me doubting. Sorry, they were very nice.
The first time I came to try Bun dau mam tom that was fine. This time I triefd Crispy shrimp pasty & I can tell it is a must try, I love it. The restaurant is clean, service is good. As an authentic Vietnamese I prefer more strong flavor for fish sauce & shrimp sauce. Banh cuốn ngon nhưng nước mắm nhạt quá nên hơi uổng tí. C'est bon!!

I just have a trip to Montreal with my family from Toronto. Randomly, I googled Vietnamese restaurant & wondering why this restaurant doesn't has Vietnamese name like the others. Look at the menu, I surprise they have "nem cua bể", "bún dậu mắm tôm", "banh xèo"...they are all my favourite Vietnamese foods. Then I decided to try T'ami restaurant. To be honest, I didn't expect their food good as much as in Toronto. But I was wrong. They were amazing & delicious food. Trust me, you have to try combo "canh chua cá - cá kho tộ" & "bún dậu mắm tôm", "nem cua bể". They are better than Vietnamese food in Toronto. They are very authentic food. The restaurant decorated very traditional. Servers were friendly & nicely. Also, the owner shared her story that was very hard time when she built up the restaurant at the beginning. It touched me a lots because i know it hard to keep & share our culture in Canada. For sure, I will be back & recommend my friends if they will travel to Montreal. Best Vietnamese restaurant I had try in Canada
The place is so homey & we felt welcomed, & very cozy. The food is absolutely amazing, true authentic flavours with Tami's specialties that amazed us! We loved the Bún Cha Hà Nôi, a burst of flavours with excellent pork. We cannot return to try more dishes
We ordered in advance our food & when we came there, our table for 7 was ready & 3 of our first dishes were already ready & brought out in under 10 mins it was incredible! We were the first to get treated to the “Gà lên mâm” plater for 4 people & it was mind blowing!!! The owner, Ms Tâm, a very kind & nice lady, personally prepared it for us & came out to introduce each of the ingredients on the player for us!! Even the staff went extra steps to ask the chef again about the amount of gluten in each dish for my gluten-free friend. GO EAT THERE, IT’S ALSO THE PERFECT AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE EXPERIENCE!!! All the staff is Vietnamese & all the food is accurate. If you never visit, you’ll never forgive yourself. Their smoothies are also amazing.
Stopped in Montreal on the way back to Toronto & found this authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Ordered & loved their banh cuon which they serve friday-sunday. Excellent food, even better service. Our whole family loved their food. Thank you guys for a great experience. 😋
