Beautiful food, beautiful people! Delicious Vietnamese restaurant with a perfect blend of authenticity & modern ambiance. We did not have a reservation & in spite of everything being booked, they managed to carve out a place for us. Food was delish, service was quick & attentionate. Warm ambiance overall, modern decor but food is homie, authentic & flavorful.

Tami's story is as authentic as its dishes. The founder explored Vietnam, tasting & perfecting recipes to bring the essence of the country's cuisine right here to Montreal. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, rich in taste, & felt like a comforting, home-cooked meal. The customer service was unmatched. They even offered me a cup of hot water to warm up & checked if I needed the heating adjusted. After our meal, they made sure we loved our experience & welcomed any feedback. It's clear that customer satisfaction is at the heart of Tami. So if you're craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine with impeccable service, Tami Restaurant should be at the top of your list. Absolutely incredible experience. Food is tasty, authentic & made with fresh ingredients. Service is quick & efficient. Value is excellent. Great bang for your buck. Must Try!!
I went with a group of Vietnamese friends & got to say if you want to taste authentic Northern cuisine, this is the place. It is not close but it is the taste. There is a special dish called "Gà Lên Mâm" which you need to call one day in-advance to let the restaurant know to prepare. It's a must try. Worth it!
The best Northern Vietnamese restaurant overseas! All the food we ordered such as tasted so authentic. Nem cua be is literally the best in the world with the owner's recipe. Dồi sụn, bún chả, bún dậu mắm tôm, bánh cuốn Thanh Trì, bánh tôm are all so yummy. Bánh xèo is the highlight of the night. It is so crispy & thin just the way it has to be. The sauce is homemade & catered to each dish. We finished everything. It is rare to find a Northern style restaurant so you must try it!
This is a decent Vietnamese restaurant near Italian town. When looking at the menu prior to my trip to Montreal, I was so excited to get here & it was the first stop for our trip. The selection of menu was incredibly special. The offering is Northern Vietnamese food & these special dishes are really hard to find at any different Vietnamese restaurant. Bun Cha Ha Noi - is also called Obama noodle because President Obama had it when he was in Vietnam. Besides the grilled pork, the hardest thing in my opinion is the sauce, which was good here. The only that bothered me is how small the portion is. We had to order extra meat for my daughter. Bun Dau Mam Tom - I have high expectation for a very authentic Vietnamese disk so I was not impressed with their Bun Dau Mam Tom. It normally comes with pork intestine. Where is my pork intestine? Haha Again the portion is also very small. Nem be which is similar to spring roll was also something we called at the end when everyone was still hungry. In my opinion, it is a bit expensive for the food & the portions are small.

I haven't been back home to California in 3 years, this is the first time I've had Vietnamese food this good. It's truly special & incredibly delicious. Everything about this spot is authentic. Having lived on the east coast for the past 3 yrs, nothing compares to here. Would highly recommend the avocado smoothie. Made my heart feel full & comforted me so much. Thank you!
Coming from a 5 hours drive from NY. It was our first time at T'ami, what a wonderful first impression from the well decorated atmosphere to the well flavor foods. My favorite was Bun Dậu mắm tôm, it came with enough toppings, the sauce was just right ( not too salty or sweet) the only thing that I'm not use to is not having the rice paper( bánh tráng) . I usually eat this with rice paper in the past but they give us plenty of vegetables so it's a plus. Café sữa dá was fantastic, Nem cua be was delicious & well flavored. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal. Plus the owner & staffs were super nice & friendly 😍. We will definitely come back when we're in Montreal next time. Highly recommended.

Had Bún Chả Hà Nội on Thursday afternoon. The broth & the grilled pork was SO GOOD & authentic that remind me back home. The owner is friendly & helpful. Highly recommended!
Love the food, byow make it even better. They have so many authentic menu options & egg coffee, which I haven't yet to find another restaurant offers in Montreal. One comment about the egg coffee is that depends who makes, the quality is not consistent.
We came here tonight to have dinner & surprised by both the good & bad : 1.) Tom Yum soup had thick cuts of zucchini , red & green peppers & very small pieces of shrimp. Not great quality of ingredients or flavor . Didn't taste authentic 2.) ginger chicken rice with thick uneven cuts of veggies came out so soupy 3.) they brought out our food at separate times , we waited for 15-30 mins for my order . By the time my dish came out, my husbands food got cold & soggy 4.) spring rolls were great 5.) bun cha was great 6.) staff were apologetic about the bad service & provided a 15% discount on a dish.... We won't be back
Just went there for dinner with friends & both the service & food was amazing. Glad my friend Victor showed me this authentic Vietnamese restaurant in little Italy. 👌🏼
