Amazing experience overall! The service was great & the food was honestly so good. I tried the ricotta option & it was definitely my favorite. The dough is perfectly flaky & hits the spot - everything tasted so fresh & flavorful. I would 100% recommend & will for sure be coming back!
A friend strongly recommends the Australian traditional savoury pies from Ta Pies, & there we are. There're many fillings to choose from, we went with the classic beef pie, & it was incredibly satisfying - rich, comforting, & full of flavor.
One nice bonus is that you can also buy the pies frozen to take home & bake yourself, which makes it even more tempting to stock up.
After trying the classic beef, I'm definitely looking forward to coming back & exploring more of their fillings next time.

Absolutely delicious! The crust is golden & flaky, & the filling is rich, tender, & full of flavor. You can taste the quality & care in every bite. The steak & mushroom pie was my favorite - perfectly seasoned & comforting. Friendly staff, quick service, & a cozy atmosphere make it even better. Easily one of the best spots for a hearty, homemade-style meal. Highly recommend!
Lots of pies to choose from (both meat & vegetarian), & some selections of traditional Australian/New Zealand pastries too. I went with the steak & mushroom, which the cashier recommended. I didn't plan on eating my pie right away, & she offered to give me a cold one instead (which is a bit cheaper) & provided reheating instructions too. Really great service!
WOW that filling -- the steak was really tender & the gravy had great flavor. The outer layer of the pie was really flaky, but the inner layers were doughy & seemed raw still even after following the reheating instructions. I guess it wasn't quite baked through the first time? The pie was still fantastic overall, so I'd come back.
Leurs tartes salé, moelleux & savoureux sont tout simplement divin & fait différent des mets habituel sur rotations, je recommande 100% leurs tarte au curry ou au bourguignon💯 (ne prenez pas les patates pilé par contre elle goute comme celles em poudre avec une sauce tomate dessus, cetais un peux décevant MAIS LEURS TARTES EN VAUT VRAIMENT LA PEINE)

Nicely decorated little shop. Staff were nice & very friendly. I was told the butter chicken is the best seller but honestly didn't think it really blew me away. Would recommend the classic beef though. Buttery pastry shell stuffed with delicious fillings. They have the frozen/refrigerated pies if you want to stock up the fridge with quick but filling meals.
Ordered my fiancee the Sausage Rolls. She loved them & said some of the best she has ever had. It's a little hole in the wall type store with some of the best homemade pies in Quebec. Highly recommended to go in & or order on one of the available food apps.
Très bon service, la propriétaire est toujours de bon humeur, nous conseille, est très présente pour les clients malgré le fait qu'elle est la seule au service.
J'aime le concept des tourtières 'ratées' dans la section congelée : si elles ont des petits défauts (ex. la pâte est un peu craquée) ils font un rabais.
Très bonne place pour manger ou pour prendre pour chez soi.
Beaucoup de choix, dont certains très originaux. Excellente purée de pois.
Il pourrait être intéressant d'offrif un trio puisque les petites tourtières ne sont pas si grosses & le prix monte rapidement quand on prend des à cotés.
Ils font aussi de bons desserts.
Je recommande sans hésitations !

I tried the new location at 5525 Monkland Ave. recently for lunch. Having a hard time deciding which one to choose, I went with the Steak, Bacon & Cheese immediately & took the Lamb Roganjosh & Butter Chicken as frozen pies to try later. The steak was good, meat was tender & flavorful. I had the Lamb Roganjosh for dinner & it was delicious I highly recommend trying this one! I will definitely go back for more. I have yet to try the Butter Chicken but from my experience so far I'm sure it will be good. I recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a quick & yummy bite to eat.
