Mushroom footy pie for 11.84 (incl tip).. & it had potato inside. The potato, for me, disrupts the texture of the mushroom. Not bad; pastry is nice, seasoning tasty. ofc the price will be different overseas, aussie pies are novel here but the price was shocking.

Delicious pies! The service was also fast & accommodating. The standout pies are the butter chicken & any of the steak pies. The pastry dough used in their pies is very flakey & not too buttery.

Première fois que je mangeais des tapas australiennes & franchement, belle découverte! Je suis allé deux fois & j'ai essayé le poulet & le boeuf. Tout était vraiment bon & bien assaisonné. J'y retournerais sans hésiter!

Dope spot, a little unsuspecting, but seriously, friendly staff & great pies perfect to take home frozen cold or hot. Hope they keep going. Man's even put the cooking time & temp on the bag for me without asking a gem

As an Australian, I had to walk into this shop to see what was going on & to be told their pies are better than in NZ/Aus…. I don't think I was lied to. & I have had some damn good pies in NZ! The butter chicken pie was their best seller & after having tried their steak & mushroom, I had to go back to see what the fuss was about. The most buttery pastry a pie-girl could ever wish for with beautiful fillings. 10/10

Never had Australian food before, been wanting to check this place out for a while & I'm glad I did! Really hits the spot after a run around Mount Royal.
Their beef & cheese pie was great, but their caramel lamington… omg where have you been all my life?! I'm usually not a dessert person, so I was shocked at how much I loved it. It was light, moist, not too sweet, loved the coconut texture.
Service was great too, the young man at the counter was very polite & friendly, explaining in detail what a lamington was.
Will definitely come back after my next run!

After years of wanting to visit, I finally stopped by with my son & my dad. Sadly, I was disappointed. The pastry was flaky & tasted good, but it was mostly empty inside. For the price, I expected it to be much more generously filled. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype or the wait.
