This is a little shop right downtown. I like to go there as the staff is absolutely delightful, efficient, & their sushi is darn good! I had ten pieces today & they were like eating ten perfections! Just delicious & fun. There are small tables for about ten people, & it's a little impersonal, but the staff & food make up for that! I have been there in the summer & winter & it's a pleasant place to visit in both seasons! Yummy!!

I'm a frequent customer of Sushi Shop & usually have great experiences, but my visit to this location today was disappointing. The service clerk was unusually rude & dismissive. Before I could even finish my order, he interrupted to say they didn't have what I wanted & told me to just take a pre-made combo from the fridge. He claimed they weren't preparing fresh combos anymore, which is confusing since they are on the menu & I just ordered the same one at a different location two days ago without any issues. The service at other stores is much kinder & more accommodating. By the way, I just got a fresh & custom combo at a different Sushi Shop store !

J'ai passé ce midi & commandé crevette épicé & le rouleaux dragoneye. Les sushi sont très beaux & je dirais que les rouleaux sont plus grands que d'autres sushi shops que je fréquentais auparavant. Le personnel est assez gentilles. Je vous recommande fortement y aller goûter les sushis.😁🫶👍

I informed the staff that I have Celiac disease & a gluten allergy, & I carefully explained that the only modification needed was to leave off the tempura flakes. I emphasized how important this is for my health. While the staff was friendly, my sushi burrito was still made with tempura flakes. When I noticed, I went back inside & explained the mistake. The team kindly remade the burrito for me, which I appreciated.
However, I was very concerned to see that the first burrito I had already poked through with my finger to check for tempura was placed back on the premade meal refrigerator shelf for someone else to purchase. This practice poses a significant health & food safety risk.
On a positive note, the replacement burrito was delicious & the fish tasted fresh. Still, the lack of care in handling mistakes & the potential for cross-contamination makes me hesitant to return.

I forgot a paper bag of Bath & Body Works products at the restaurant, & I thank sincerely the employees whose kindness & honesty made it possible for me to pick it up the following day.
Prior to this, we had ordered a tuna & salmon poke bowl which was delicious. It came with 2 free spring rolls from a coupon. I also ordered a small bowl of edamame beans which were fresh & crispy/ bouncy.
The day I picked up my paper bag, I asked for the original milk tea which was refreshing & perfectly sweet. It was very reasonably priced as well.
The only con I could write is that the free spring rolls were still cold on the inside-they must have not been fried long enough. In any case, they were still delicious & my boyfriend & I did not actually mind 😀.
