J'ai été bluffée. Je n'avais jamais mangé de sushis exclusivement végétaliens, l'occasionnel hosomaki au concombre ou à l'avocat me suffisant généralement. Mais je dois dire que chez Momo, c'est une explosion de saveurs & de textures qui vous attend. Ils font de très bons makis épicés à la patate douce, de même qu'une entrée de "mock-shrimps" absolument délicieuse. Les gyozas étaient également très goûteux, bien denses & tout à fait surprenants.

Je n'ai que deux reproches à leur faire, finalement : comme nous avions le menu de groupe, nous n'avons pas eu le choix des sushis qui atterrissaient sur notre table. Par conséquent, plusieurs des rouleaux se ressemblaient... En fait, trop d'entre eux étaient épicés avec du cari. C'est bon, le cari, mais ç'a a tendance à supplanter toutes les autres saveurs. Aussi, la musique était trop forte. Je ne m'attends pas à devoir parler très fort pour que mon interlocuteur/trice m'entende, surtout dans un sushi bar. Chez Momo, c'était le cas. Mais sinon, thumbs up! J'ai vraiment aimé mon expérience.

Wow, excellent sushi! Was at their new location on St-Denis, looks really nice. Service was amazing as well.

la nourriture était excellente, on avait toute les deux prisent la boite binto vegetalienne.
Le resto par contre est TRÈS petit & encombré. Pas très comfortable ; je suggère réserver une table au cas où.
Aussi le service était décevant. Rien que demander de l'eau à du été répéter à la serveuse deux fois, elle était vraiment pas sur terre..
Je retournerais pour le take-out mais pas pour y manger sur place.
