Fine restaurant, nothing special besides halal meats I guess? There's a couple other restaurants with this style of hotpot (more so malatang apparently) so don't come here thinking it's the style with a huge bowl that you put your ingredients into lol. Went with a large group & were seated fairly quickly on a Friday evening. Hosting staff at the front were nice & helped to explain how the system works but once seated everything was slowed & we all felt our table was ignored (no water refills were offered & staff turned an eye to our table) wouldn't come here again just because there's other spots I prefer for this style of hotpot but the food itself is solid (please PLEASE skip the cheese fish cakes..) & lots of add ins to choose from which is nice :)
My bowl was 23$ but our group ranged from 15-27$ so it's really dependant on what you chose! Would recommend stocking up on the meat cuts (lamb & beef) & mushrooms ^^

Absolutely delicious! You chose your own ingredients & broth, & then make your little sauce on the side. They weigh your ingredients alone first & you pay according to that. Mine was pretty full with 2 types of noodles (the plate in the front) & it came to around 20$ after tax. The staff is also very friendly & welcoming. We went there on a Tuesday evening for a table of 4 & we didn't have to wait, so I recommend going during the weekdays. (You also get a free little ice cream at the end!!) Definitely going back again to try the different broths.

I had a great experience at Soup Zen! The food was fresh & flavorful, the staff were friendly & attentive, & the atmosphere was cozy & welcoming.

The quality-to-price ratio was excellent. I'm definitely planning to come back soon!

Halal hot pot in Montreal!!!!! I was sooooo happy to hear this news. The wait may take a while for now but it's well worth it. You have so many options for all diets. The employees are all very nice & professional which makes the experience even more pleasant. I recommend this place for sure.

Cela fait deux fois que je me présente à cet endroit.

Cet endroit est doté d'un personnel très chaleureux, courtois, souriant & prêt à assister leur clientèle pour le moindre soucis.

Je n'ai pas encore eu la chance de manger sur place, je n'ai pris que des plats pour emporter, pour mon chéri & moi. Puisque j'avais mon bébé avec moi, un personnel m'a assisté dans la sélection des ingrédients pour ma commande.

Le service a été rapide & la présentation des plats étaient parfait (jus de bouillons dans un bol & les ingrédients cuits dans un autres bol). J'ai même eu de l'aide pour amener mes plats à ma voiture.

À la maison, la nourriture était toujours chaude. Mon chéri & moi avons bien aimé notre plats & nous en avons eu pour deux jours.
