Ever since Seoul Chako closed, this spot has become my go-to for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ in Montreal. The quality is consistently great, & the bonus is that they offer sushi as well, perfect for us because my husband is obsessed with sushi.
I also really appreciate how well-ventilated the dining area is. Indoor BBQ spots often struggle with smoke, but they've mastered the balance here. You can actually enjoy your meal without smelling like a grill afterward.
Highly recommend! this place never disappoints (I've been 5x with family & friends)

The quality of food is fine. Sushi's are fine as well. The only complaints are dessert! & sussages! For dessert it is only ice cream!! I expected more items! Also, the sussage quality was not good at all!
All in all, it was not bad
Our experience at Sota BBQ was incredibly disappointing. We were a large group with a reservation, but when we arrived, they sent us to the basement & split us into three separate tables far apart from each other-not ideal for a birthday dinner. To make matters worse, the basement was unbearably hot, leaving everyone sweating like we were in a sauna.
We arrived at 9:30 PM, a full 1.5 hours before closing, but they rushed us to order everything immediately because they claimed the kitchen was closing. For a Korean BBQ, this completely ruins the experience since the whole point is to order gradually as you eat. Instead, we were forced to make a massive order upfront, which was hard to gauge. Naturally, we ended up with too much food, & they quickly informed us we'd have to pay for any leftovers. It honestly felt like a setup to overcharge customers.
On top of that, they didn't bring many of the items we ordered, brought too much of others, & the food quality was mediocre at best. The chicken was questionable-neither looking nor tasting like chicken-& the sushi was on par with gas station sushi. They also never replaced the grill, even when it was full of burnt scraps, which every other Korean BBQ we've been to does automatically.
To make matters worse, they automatically added tips to our bills, which was not only unexpected but also felt inappropriate given the poor service. I'm not even sure if this is legal, but it was definitely not appreciated.
It was absolutely not worth $57. For that price, you'd expect much better food, service, & an overall experience. Instead, it felt like a complete ripoff.
Edit : I came back for the second time to give a chance to this bqq & I'm actually quite surprised. They change their beef quality & ut soo much better then before. Some stuff on the menu still need to work like the dumplings but overall the service was great, sushi amazing & the atmosphere not that bad. Would recommend here.

The quality when down. The food is below average. The tempura is not very good. The vegetables are still to raw to eat. The sushi depend on the type can be fishy. The service is not very attentive. When order something is always missing. You would need to call the server to get it. The meat could be better cuts. The price is okay for the experience & food.
It's... a nice AYCE but the food quality is honestly very mediocre. The food takes forever to cook & the meat is hard, barely any chewiness. The only good thing is the unlimited drinks option that AYCE restaurants usually don't have.
The food seemed low quality, the chicken tasted weird. The kitchen was simply sending way more items than what we ordered or way less items. After 30 min inside they told us to do one final order because the kitchen was closing (which is fine), so we did, they simply DID NOT send half of the items we asked for on that order & we had to pay when we were still eating so they just stopped sending us food after we payed which is just absurd because we ordered prior to that. The idea of all you can eat & drink is good but do better.
