The best place in'west island' (actually not really on Montreal but Always worth the drive!) You can find lots of smoked meat in Mt'l- but you will never find a joint that is as busy as this place! Ppl drive from all over for Smoke Meat Pete - some just for the food, some for the nightly Blues concerts- & me Both! Don't come if you are in a rush! You will have to stand in line to order like the rest of us... but when you see the crowds ans taste the food you will appreciate why!View more

Paid ~70$ for a slice of burnt cheesecake & 2 smoked meat sandwich combos with soggy fries that had no color on them . I get that the kitchen was getting slammed on a Sunday night but screw this place. The front of house staff were pleasant but there needs to be way better quality control with what's coming out of the kitchen.View more

I gave this place a 2nd try but I won't be back. The bread was mushy, the smoked meat tasted like PREM & was incredibly fatty! The poutine gravy is too sweet for me & they were pretty cheap on the curds. I think they should move away from calling your name when your food is ready. It just came off weird & unorganized. They had a two for one beer special & love music so that's a good draw & that atmosphere is great.View more

Great kitschy, rock'n roll type establishment. You place your order at the window & then grab a table. The meal is brought over by a server. I had the smoked meat, which was moist delicious. I would have liked to see a bigger sandwich, but I would order again. I suggest you google the busy times because it's popular & can be crowded.View more

I came with my family from Ottawa to get smoked meat. We just wanted to get a take out. The Shawrrtz is making us disappointed with dry, dry, & tasteless meat! But meat from this place made us believe in Montreal Smoky meat again! The waiter told us the food will be ready in 10 min though, but it took us 45 min to get our food! I was prepared to go for 1 star, but when I tasted the food, I changed my mind! Omg what a good tasting smoke meat! Juicy, spicy & delicious!
