If you like ribs & smoked meat this is the place it was amazing & oh yes don't forget the cheesecake. It's a family-owned restaurant. The place reminds me of an old wooden cottage. The service was great & friendly. The band that performed were great. They played oldies which we sang along with them all evening. The place is not that big & they don't take reservation. One of the owner gave out ice cream cone which we don't see free things much these days it was really appreciated especially from the kids. In the summer they have old vintage car shows in the parking lot so we will for sure go to that event.View more

Attention Ceci est l'avis d'une française en visite au Québec. Je n'ai pas apprécié la viande fumée. Les ribs m'ont semblé meilleurs. Ok pour les frites qui sont fraîches. La quantité est importante même en commandant un petit sandwich. Ça cale bien. Dommage aussi, pas de concert. Je reviendrai pour boire un verre & écouter la musique mais pas pour manger.View more

Always order the smoke meat when I go to Pete's & it's always very good. Yesterday, when I went, they had some juicy looking ribs on display at the counter. I ordered a half rack & was very surprised at what was brought to me. The ribs were not like the ones displayed. They were awful. The ribs were mushy & bland. Kinda like they were boil for a long period of time & the only flavour was the BBQ sauce slathered all over. Shame on me for ordering ribs at a Smoke Meat joint. The good thing out of this was, I was refunded my money after I complained.
