L’histoire de SHNOOPI commence avec notre famille, imprégnée de l’héritage culinaire des pays méditerranéens. Nous avons grandi en Égypte et avons beaucoup voyagé dans d’autres pays avec lesquels nous partageons la mer cristalline, comme l’Italie, la Grèce, le Liban, la France, etc D’aussi loin que nous nous souvenons, notre cuisine a toujours été inspirée par les saveurs de ces pays, mélangeant les ingrédients de manière non traditionnelle, tout en représentant toutes les cultures de manière harmonieuse. En créant SHNOOPI, nous voulions représenter et honorer cet héritage, ainsi que partager avec nos clients les plats que nous avons appris à manger en grandissant.
En fait, le nom SHNOOPI est le surnom de notre nom de famille. Ne soyez donc pas surpris si vous nous entendez nous appeler SHNOOPI dans la cuisine !
Dans l'ensemble, Shnoopi est décrit comme un café-restaurant chaleureux qui propose une offre variée de sandwiches et de salades, avec des sauces maison et des options sans gluten qui séduisent les personnes cœliaques ou sensibles au gluten. Les portions sont généreuses, les ingrédients frais et certains plats se distinguent par leur originalité, comme le rosbif, le poulet pesto et les lobster rolls, sans oublier les soupes et le riz au lait appréciés. Le service est souvent courtois et efficace dans une ambiance accueillante et conviviale, avec une agréable terrasse; mais quelques visites signalent un service plus lent, une certaine irrégularité et des plats parfois chers ou manquant d'assaisonnement. Dans l'ensemble, Shnoopi apparaît comme une adresse montréalaine atypique et mémorable pour des sandwichs créatifs et des options sans gluten fiables que beaucoup seraient ravis de reprendre.
Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce petit resto & nous n'avons pas été déçus. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, le lieu a une ambiance cosy & familial, on s'y sent bien.
Nous avons été servis rapidement & le service était attentionné. Nous avons pris des sandwiches, ils étaient savoureux, originaux & généreux.
Nous recommandons fortement cet établissement !

The food they serve is probably the freshest food I've had in Montreal. You just taste it. Different menu from what you usually get for sandwiches & salad. Rice pudding is absolutely delicious.
Ordered an iced latte & basically got a shot of coffee at the bottom of a glass of milk. Employee was too lazy to even stir it. & their ice cubes are huge, which I'm not a fan of. Not to mention, I requested light ice & got anything but that. & they're not particularly fast or friendly, either. They make their sandwiches in a toaster oven, which is better than a microwave, I guess.
We found this spot on our vacation & loved the sandwiches we had to come back a second day. Everything was fresh & the staff was excellent. They were able to accommodate our children who can be picky when it comes to food. Highly recommend Shnoopi if you are in Montreal.
Wonderful little lunch spot. Service is super friendly. Yummy sandwiches. Went out of their way to accommodate my daughter's allergies. She loved it so much we went back the next day! Recommend!

An absolutely delightful restaurant in Old Montreal. The experience was pleasant from entry to exit. The sandwiches on offer are original... pairing ingredients I never would have thought to pair. I had the roast beef, my wife The Camembert. Both delicious. Service was fast & friendly, & sandwiches generous in size & enormous in taste! Worth driving cross town for!
Love this place! Brand new, clean, friendly staff. Their location is amazing & they have a variety of sandwiches. We tried chicken tahini & camembert sandwiches. Both were delicious! Lattes are average but then we tried the riz au lait dessert: instant childhood memories unlocked!!!! Gotta try this place.
Very friendly staff. Amazing sandwiches. Vegetarian options are available, & he changed one menu option to make it Vegetarian for me.
Initially walked in to a patisserie on the other side of the street. We were treated rudely by staff while waiting in line, so we left to find a different place... & I'm glad we found Shnoopi instead. Would definitely visit Shnoopi again when in Montreal. Caprese sandwich & Camembert without pepperoni, pasta with roset sauce were fantastic. Very close to Notre Dame cathedral.
Awesome sandwich spot! Decided to hop over after we just landed in MTL & ended up coming back 2 more times within a week! Amine welcomed us with great customer service & explained the sandwiches & flavors along with great recommendations that we ended up enjoying each one by the time we had to leave town. The original Shnoopi was my favorite but they're all really good!
My son & I had an amazing meal. One of the sandwiches was likely the beet sandwich I have ever had. Food was prompt service was very friendly & we weren't rushed at all.

I usually don't like cold sandwiches, but their Shnoopi sandwich was honestly the best I've ever had - so unique & full of flavor.
I had a virtual meeting while sitting in the restaurant, so the sandwich sat there for a while. After my meeting, the staff kindly offered to heat it up for me - such a thoughtful gesture that melted my heart. The sandwich was so good that I even saved half for the next day, & it still tasted amazing.
One of the best sandwiches I've ever had - tasted like an entire charcuterie board in one bite with the Camembert cheese, olive tapenade, pickles, pepperoni, strawberry jam & almonds. The service was great as well!
The atmosphere & food is absolutely amazing. Tried the pesto chicken & minced beef sandwiches, & they were filled with fresh ingredients & was absolute perfection! Definitely recommend trying them out!
