L’histoire de SHNOOPI commence avec notre famille, imprégnée de l’héritage culinaire des pays méditerranéens. Nous avons grandi en Égypte et avons beaucoup voyagé dans d’autres pays avec lesquels nous partageons la mer cristalline, comme l’Italie, la Grèce, le Liban, la France, etc D’aussi loin que nous nous souvenons, notre cuisine a toujours été inspirée par les saveurs de ces pays, mélangeant les ingrédients de manière non traditionnelle, tout en représentant toutes les cultures de manière harmonieuse. En créant SHNOOPI, nous voulions représenter et honorer cet héritage, ainsi que partager avec nos clients les plats que nous avons appris à manger en grandissant.
En fait, le nom SHNOOPI est le surnom de notre nom de famille. Ne soyez donc pas surpris si vous nous entendez nous appeler SHNOOPI dans la cuisine !
Dans l'ensemble, Shnoopi est décrit comme un café-restaurant chaleureux qui propose une offre variée de sandwiches et de salades, avec des sauces maison et des options sans gluten qui séduisent les personnes cœliaques ou sensibles au gluten. Les portions sont généreuses, les ingrédients frais et certains plats se distinguent par leur originalité, comme le rosbif, le poulet pesto et les lobster rolls, sans oublier les soupes et le riz au lait appréciés. Le service est souvent courtois et efficace dans une ambiance accueillante et conviviale, avec une agréable terrasse; mais quelques visites signalent un service plus lent, une certaine irrégularité et des plats parfois chers ou manquant d'assaisonnement. Dans l'ensemble, Shnoopi apparaît comme une adresse montréalaine atypique et mémorable pour des sandwichs créatifs et des options sans gluten fiables que beaucoup seraient ravis de reprendre.
One of my favorite spots for lunch near work. Excellent service & truly delicious & somewhat unique flavors. I even encouraged some colleagues to try it & it is now become one of our favs in the rotation around the office. The shnoopi sandwich is a must, & I like the concept of the sandwiches also coming in salad forms.
Stopped for a quick lunch here at Shnoopi. It was delicious - salad was fresh, perfectly dressed & the sandwich made to order was also super fresh. Very sweet staff: )

Visited during a recent trip to Old Montreal & found this through a YouTube review of Montreal. The restaurant offers freshly made sandwiches & salads alongside a few daily specials in a cafe-like environment. While they are known for their Shnoopi sandwich (consisting of shrimp, feta & truffle), their Sirloin sandwich is also a great option as well. The Sirloin sandwich comes with slow cooked beef sirloin strips marinated along with tomatoes, onions & olives. The sandwich came warm & freshly made once ordered, with the sirloin strips being quite tender & was a decent mix of flavours. Price for the sandwich was fair considering other offerings in the area which is popular among tourists (due to it being Old Montreal). Overall, this is a decent lunch spot in the Old Montreal area either as sit down or for takeout if looking for something simpler or more fast casual.
The Shnoopi sandwich is one of the best, & most innovative sandwiches I've ever had! I'm a big truffle fan, but this was probably my favorite dish that includes truffle. It wasn't overpowering, it was just right. Perfect balance of fresh ingredients. Warm & soft bread with a perfectly crunchy crust, but not so much that it tears your mouth up! We also had the Chicken & Artichoke Salad. Giant, delicious chunks of grilled chicken, feta, artichoke hearts, etc., tossed in an amazing vinaigrette. Also, don't forget to order the rice pudding. It's seems like it should be dense, but it was very light & delicious. They top it with cinnamon & pistachios, & I don't think I can eat any other rice pudding after eating at Shnoopi's! Also, the staff is fantastic. I don't know what else to say about them. Just wonderful. Do not hesitate to eat here!!! Amazing food & wonderful prices!
We walked by when they were closed, so we came back the next day & it was so worth it! We shared the Caprese sandwich which was amazing. We also shared the rice pudding dessert which was FANTASTIC! I wanted to like out the container afterwards! Service was amazing. They are a great team! Very friendly & helpful! A definite must for salads, sandwiches, soup & do not forget the rice pudding! Will definitely be back again & again!!!

We were in Montreal for 4 days & we ate here twice. Amazing sandwiches & salads. Quality ingredients, & delicious combinations. The guys are super nice. When we told them we were looking for ice because the corner store had none, they gave us a huge baggie full of ice that actually last us for 2 days.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had lunch at Shnoopi for the first time, & it was an amazing experience! I tried their house special, the Shnoopi Salad, which is a delightful mix of arugula, ,mushrooms,truffles, & shrimp-outstanding in both flavor & taste. To top it off, I enjoyed a smooth & refreshing Americano. The service was exceptional, even while sitting outdoors on their lovely patio in the sun. Overall, a phenomenal experience! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
This is such a lovely casual gem. Hand-crafted sandwiches, some pasta choices, dips, salads & an amazing rice pudding (almost as good as my mother's kheer). We were staying at the Westin & this was only a block away in old Montreal. Sometimes you just need honest, simple & delicious food & Shnoopi fits the bill. There's a modest wine/beer list - which fits the food menu perfectly. Loving & friendly service.

I ate the tuna salad & the shrimp sandwich. Both were good. But I don't know why you would have a hot sandwich with cold shrimps. While the ingredients & bread were hot, the shrimps were cold. If that's the way you guys serve it, not my taste. Verdict : give it a try.
The food was AMAZING! Ordered a sub each & salad to share. Was soo good we ordered another two sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. Super friendly staff & Delicious food!
Un petit spot tranquille près du Vieux Port. Le restaurant propose énormément de sandwichs & salades tous faits maison. Nous y sommes allés pour goûter les lobster rolls qui étaient incroyablement bons, & bien moins chers qu'à New York ! Le riz au lait était également à tomber par terre. Le personnel est super sympa. Bref, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !
Great service - our waiter was a gifted storyteller. 😊 Super fresh salads & don't forget to order the rice pudding! It's a family recipe from Egypt. Delicious!

Best in town. Nous mangeons chez Shnoopi chaque midi. Le service est familial & chaleureux. Tout est fait avec amour. Les sandwichs, salades, cafés ou riz au lait, je recommande tout les yeux fermés. Merci à toute l'équipe pour l'accueil chaleureux & le service impeccable.👌❤️
Came for lunch today with some friends, we had a blast the service was amazing. Then we shared a couple of sandwiches & salads with the whole group & every single plate we tried was delicious. & they are all different. A very big variety of sandwiches & salads. If you live in Montreal or you visit anytime you have to stop by. One of the best restaurants in the city!
