From its construction in the early 19th century to the creation of its first factory in 1900, a lot has happened in Shawbridge. We saw the birth of a village, a school, a church, a bridge. We almost lost everything in a fire, then we rebuilt. In 1909, his name was made official in the civil constitution. Then in 2018, a second Factory opens its doors. Its mission: to put Shawbridge back on the map, one sip at a time… then we're there for that. We make great beer and great food for you, and we even make it for you to take home. A homemade vegetable garden for fresh ingredients all year round, pizzas made from beer dough cooked over a wood fire, dishes to share and tapas to lick your fingers ...

Shawbridge - Microbrasserie / Usine & Station comes across as a welcoming spot with a broad, well curated beer list and a menu that highlights local ingredients. The ambiance is warm and lively with a family friendly vibe and a covered terrace that makes it a great stop after outdoor adventures on the Petit Train du Nord. Guests praise friendly, attentive service and thoughtful recommendations that enhance meals, with pizzas, burgers, seafood and charcuterie pairing nicely with the brews. While peak times can bring longer waits and occasional hiccups in service or portions, the overall experience is positive and the beer and food selections are frequently commended.
Nous sommes arrivés en milieu d'après-midi avec l'idée d'y prendre une bière & de manger. On a eu seulement eu le temps de prendre nos bières & de manger notre entrée (en 1h30) la serveuse est jamais revenue nous voir pour savoir si on voulait autre chose (on lui avait annoncé qu'on voulait commander autre chose). Nous avons partagé une pizza en entrée qui à mon humble avis, en plus d'être tiède, goûtait le congelé. Nos verres n'étaient pas rincés & sentaient le lave-vaisselle. Comme plusieurs, je voudrais sincèrement aimer l'endroit, mais après deux visites décevantes, je n'y arrive pas. La nourriture est très ordinaire & le service est presque inexistant.

J'y suis retourné depuis & tout s'est bien passé. Soyez patients à heure de grande affluence, il y a beaucoup de monde. Mais il y a une belle ambiance & c'est très bien situé. Laissez-vous porter.

Nous y avons célébré un dîner de famille la veille du jour de l'An avec environ 50 personnes, & tout a été parfaitement réussi du début à la fin.
Malgré le grand groupe, le service roulait comme sur des roulettes, les plats arrivaient chauds, bien servis, & tout le monde était ravi. Que demander de plus ?

Sommes allés samedi 13-déc-2025. Nous étions 4 personnes. Accueil, ambiance, qualité du service Super. La nourriture était parfaite. Énorme merci à Farsim & Nicolas

We'd made about 5 hours long walk that day along the hiking trail near Piedmont, Alfred Kelly Nature Reserve, & it was very energy recovering to have such a good meal at Shawbridge.

My niece booked the restaurant for her husband's birthday party. She was told that only the terrace was available but was assured it was both heated & insulated - an important detail since she has a 6-month-old baby. In reality, the terrace is not insulated. Although there are ceiling heaters, there are no fans to circulate the warm air. We were a group of about 20 people, & most of us needed blankets just to stay somewhat warm.
At one point, my niece opened the inner door to let some heat in for her baby. A customer sitting at the bar decided to close & lock the door from the inside. When my niece mentioned it, the manager simply stated that she was'aware it was outside,' which didn't help the situation. Things escalated when that same bar customer began making faces toward my stepfather & husband, & when they went inside, the bartender was also rude to them while the costumer was filming the scene with his phone.
It felt as though that regular customers inside was given priority, while our large group - there to celebrate a special occasion - was left waiting in the cold, both literally & figuratively.
After more than two hours with no food & increasing discomfort, & the previous scene, about three-quarters of our group decided to leave. We paid for our drinks, but it was nearly 10 p.m., & we hadn't eaten a thing.
It's truly disappointing - we wouldn't have driven all the way from Gatineau to Prévost had we known the terrace wasn't actually insulated or adequately heated as promised.

Bière, bouffe, ambiance… tout est simplement parfait. C'est l'endroit par excellence pour ressentir l'énergie & l'authenticité des Laurentides. Chaque visite est un plaisir garanti : des bières savoureuses, un menu qui surprend à chaque fois, & une atmosphère qui fait qu'on veut juste y rester un peu plus longtemps.
& que dire du service… Luce, c'est la meilleure. Souriante, attentionnée, rapide : elle élève l'expérience à un autre niveau.
Bref, un passage obligé si vous êtes dans le coin. 🍻✨
J'aimerais savoir par la personne qui me sert que mon ajout de salade César gros comme un egg muffin me coûtera 5$ sur ma facture au lieu de la salade normale.
Amazing!! Excellent food, great customer service! I had the mac n' cheese with shrimps, which was really good, & now I wanna go back to try their pizza!
