The best sandwich of your life! they serve chicken OR pork sandwiches. They prepare it like - pollo a la barbacoa - Peruvian style. A must try in the Mile end.

This place changed my life, every time I'm in the neighbourhood I make sure that I have time to drop in.
Delicious, juicy chicken & a lovely bread. Highly recommend!

The bread was really good ,soft inside, a nice crust outside, & it felt homemade (which is always a win).
For the protein, I went all in: chicken breast, thighs, & sausage. They were well-seasoned, & the homemade sauce tied them together nicely.
The toppings, though, were pretty basic ...salad, tomatoes, coleslaw, & more of that homemade sauce. They tasted good, but nothing that really stood out. During summer it's way too hot to eat inside . Overall 8/10

Classic rotisserie chicken spot that has been around for awhile. Great lunch. Delish chicken & the potatoes are roasted underneath. Hard to beat!

Mile End is rich in chicken options, from Portuguese to southern fried to kebabs... but Serrano is a no-frills takeout homestyle classic, & with its Peruvian rub (secret family recipe!) its tender rotisserie chicken stands alone. Absolutely hands-down the best chicken in the neighbourhood. Prices have spiked in recent years, but it's still totally worth it!

simple peruvian ciabatta + rotisserie chicken sando with mayo/sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, coleslaw. excellent excellent potatoes. salty, starchy, fatty, & immensely satisfying. counter service, 3 tables.

Une véritable institution du poulet à Montréal. Je vais à cette rôtisserie pour leur sandwiches au poulet (cuisse, évidement), leurs saucisses & les patates depuis plus de 20 ans. Il faut absolument prendre du bouillon dans son sandwich ou sur son poulet. Le poulet rôti est probablement le meilleur en ville. Pas beaucoup de place sur place, mais parfait pour emporter.

Habitué des rotisseries portuguaises à Montréal, je m'attendais à un poulet savoureux & juteux. Hélas, pour 20 $, j'ai eu un poulet rikiki & sec, sans jus & sans sauce. Vu la concurrence, Serrano a intérêt à améliorer sa recette, parce qu'actuellement, il y a beaucoup mieux dans le genre dans la métropole.
