Marco & Ropes provided exceptional customer service from the moment we arrived. Warm, welcoming, & genuinely attentive. Their hospitality, thoughtful recommendations, & positive energy made the visit memorable & reflected a team that truly cares about what they do. It's clear this restaurant is built on passion, teamwork, & pride in service. We look forward to returning again & wish the entire team a Happy New Year & continued success!
Great spot - love the home beers. Shoutout to Satay Brothers for popularizing Peranakan cuisine in Montreal, which is extremely rare to come by.
The food is great (though to be honest it cannot compare against a diaspora-filled city), & their use of pandan is appropriate & on point.
Great spot for a group outing, especially if you go with the group menu. The food is good & offers a nice variety that really opens up your palate to new flavors. Perfect for sharing, trying different dishes, & enjoying a collective dining experience.
Peak. Montreal. Restaurant. Delicious food plenty of options for sharing (as well as vegetarian options for us veg heads), delicious cocktails, & excellent service, it also has an amazingly beautiful eclectic atmosphere inside, definitely a little bit loud sometimes but that comes with the territory. A must try if you're in the area!
Nice staffs, friendly & let us know where to be parked. As an Asian, the taste is good but portion wise is small especially the laksa.
Food is normal, portion is small, default tips 18% but no service, seat very crown & uncomfortable (remember most hotel restaurant default tips 15% only) Never coming again!
Such a vibe! I loved the homey & friendly vibe when I walked in~ Everyone is packed pretty tightly in there though, so get ready to get close & personal. I thoroughly enjoyed the Laksa, pandan daiquiri, & the desserts [Kueh Bengka & the special (sorry forgot the name but was so good)]. Wish I could come back to try the other items!
Came to montreal on a trip from Toronto, this was the best meal I ate by far, & I had some good food. Everything was amazing but the shrimp skewers & pork belly buns were phenomenal. Great vibe too.
Ambiance & decor is very cool. First time enjoyed the food selection & drinks, although it was a bit loud. Tried it for a second time & have to say the food was mediocre & service wasn't great. Depends on what you're looking for if it's more of an ambiance vibe with drinks this is a good spot but food & service could be better in my opinion.
Always great vibes, great food & a great time at Satay Brothers! They slid us in before a reservation, but we never felt pressured & the service was amazing.
Good vegetarian options & I liked the tempeh skewers. The laksa had more spice than flavour.
Never again! Our server was so stressed about making sure that we stayed there for 2 & 2 hours only (after reminding us at least 5 times) that even in the last 10 mins he was watching our remaining plates like a hawk. Going to a restaurant is not just about the food, it's also about the experience & because of the rushed pressure to turnover, our experience was garbage.
We had a great experience. The service was great. They even accomodate to have the tasting menu even though we were only four
I highly recommend this place
Had an amazing time! The courses were expertly selected by our waiter & were all delicious! The music & vibe were awesome! Will definitely be going back again on our next trip to Montreal!
