Review Summary

Across the reviews, Sansotei Ramen is described as fast and friendly with generous portions, and diners consistently note flavorful, filling broths such as the Tonkotsu Black and Miso Black paired with al dente noodles; toppings like charred chashu, jammy eggs and marinated shiitake add depth, while the side Zangi chicken earns praise for crisp, juicy seasoning; service is frequently attentive, and takeout packaging is efficient for leftovers. Some guests find the broth oilier than preferred and a few visits mention ramen served lukewarm or appetizers rushed, with occasional inconsistencies in temperature or balance across dishes like gyoza; nonetheless the overall impression is positive, with value and portion size highlighted and plans to return for other bowls such as spicy tan tan ramen.

We went to Sansotei Ramen St-Hubert on a Saturday afternoon during a down time (2 pm).

When we came in, we were quickly seated & our server was very kind. He took our order quickly, & our food came out just as fast! (We were surprised at their serving speed!)

My partner had the combo with the Tonkotsu Black Ramen, side Zangi (fried chicken) & drink, & I had the Miso Black. Taste wise, we preferred what he got. :)
For both bowls, the broth was very filling & flavorful. Note that it is on the oilier/greasier side, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea. We took the thick noodles, & they came in al dente, which was great. ☺? The toppings for the ramen were great at well, our chashu pork was charred & our eggs were jammy (some a little overcooked, but we think it might be the hot broth that continued cooking them). My chashu was a little too fatty for my liking, but I switched pieces with my partner, & it was fine. :) The little shiitake mushrooms in my ramen were a nice surprise as it seems like they had been marinated before being put in the bowl, they added a little sweetness to counterbalance the saltiness of miso.
As for the side, the chicken was great! It was crispy, juicy & well seasoned! We definitely recommend that side if you're taking the combo!

Throughout the meal, our server came by to check-in & see if we needed more water, which was great because the restaurant is quite hot 😅. It would be great if the thermostat was set a little lower. 😅

Overall, it was a great find for us!☺? The combo is a great deal, & their ramen bowls are very filling! We came in hungry, & I wasn't able to finish my bowl, despite usually having a pretty good appetite!
When we asked for take-out boxes, our server speedily packed our leftovers for us. :)

We'll be coming back for other cozy ramen bowls & delicious chicken! 😊
I definitely want to try the Tantan ramen next! :)
