Great food & even wonderful experience at the dinner tonight, we tried gnocchi & burrata & loved the freshness in the flavours. It was our anniversary dinner & Daniels great service & the smile made it very memorable! Thank you.
1st off I will begin with one word: Wow. From the minute I walked in to the time I left, everything was beyond expectations. I was meeting some friends for dinner & as I walked in I was immediately impressed with the cozy & welcoming ambiance. The decor is tasteful & warm, exuding a natural comfortable feeling.. The minute I sat down the owner Mario came to introduce himself & welcome me there. Though the waiter was at our service throughout, Mario personally took our orders. I had a special request for my meal & was fully expecting that they would either not'be able to accommodate it or that they would need to charge me a fairly big surcharge for it., as most places do. To the contrary! Mario not only said no problem, but he also did it at no extra cost- a rarity by today's standards, to say the least. Now for the food. Simply put: Exquisite. Melt in your mouth dishes- from the appetizers to the main course, right through to the dessert. We all had different dishes & couldn't help dipping into eachother's plates to taste everything because it was ALL so good!! The wine selection was excellent & met the same caliber of quality as the food. We stayed to closing time but Mario did not rush us out. Once again, to the contrary, he stayed to speak with us. As I said in the beginning of my review: Wow. This place has it all: Decor, atmosphere, service, food & wine- all top notch. If you want to have a mouthwatering meal with good wine in a comfortable setting with welcoming & warm service, then this is a definite must go to. I highly recommend it, wil definitely be going back. Thank you Mario & all the staff for an amazing experience!
Simplement extraordinaire! Les ravioli au boeuf braisé & les boulettes sont absolument superbe. & le service est très amical. Belle énergie.
Mon copain & moi avons récemment eut le plaisir de dîner à Salumi Vino & ce fut une expérience enchantée du début à la fin. L'ambiance du restaurant est chaleureuse & a créée le ton parfait pour notre soirée romantique. Pour accompagner notre repas, nous avons choisi un vin rouge recommandé qui complétait parfaitement les saveurs.
I am so glad I chose this for our first Montréal dinner, as it was incredible. We shared the Caesar Salad & Meatballs, which were so good, we ate every morsel. I ordered the Gnocchi with Black Truffles & it was amazing...soft handmade pillows in a creamy Truffle sauce! It was so filling, I took more than half of it home with me. My husband had the Ravioli, which was different than any we've ever had before. Each Ravioli was filled with braised beef & in a rich porcini mushroom "gravy". We had a nice table & our server, who I assume is the owner, was very nice. We'd return in a heartbeat!
By far the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The food, ambience & owner are phenomenal. The ravioli braised beef & meatballs are to die for.

Ok, I looked for apartments in the area because I want to eat, drink, & be merry here every day of the week! On. Monday night, it was quiet & intimate. Started with the best Negroni I have ever had, escalated with the Gnocchi in a truffled cream sauce wafting its scent like you see in the cartoons drawing you in. Paired with a Barbera d’Asti, it was delicious. Awesome experience!
Wanted to experience an Italian restaurant while in Montreal. Came across this restaurant & was very pleasantly surprised. Sat outside & enjoyed the city vibe while being far enough away from the busyness to experience a cozy European vibe. Food was phenomenal.
