Votre regard se perdra aisément dans l'immensité de détails que nous avons disséminé dans cet espace ou, matériaux, meubles et objets, étaient autrefois destinés l'abandon, mais vivent à présent une belle seconde vie.
Saint JJH & Café apparaît comme un joyau de quartier, avec une ambiance cosy et éclectique et une décoration chaleureuse qui invite à s'installer dans un coin confortable pour travailler ou se détendre. Le personnel est décrit comme incroyablement sympathique et attentif, et les propriétaires semblent vraiment impliqués, donnant l'impression d'une petite famille accueillante. La carte mise sur des plats faits maison, des quiches et des pâtisseries grecques, des desserts et des boissons bien exécutées, avec un café particulièrement apprécié pour ses lattes crémeuses et son espresso soigné. My favourite little cafe in Montreal. This place is a neighborhood gem, the sort of quaint & cozy spot that becomes a regular with your friend group & where the owners know you by name. The service is always so lovely - everyone that works there is always so kind & warm. It's got an eclectic, moody vibe with lots of cute seating in all these little nooks, cool artwork & the best music playlist. The food is made in house & between the unique quiches (my favourite), Greek pastries, cakes, cookies & hot breakfast options (the pesto omelette is so good, & a great portion for the price) - you won't go hungry. Having saved the best for last, let's talk about their coffee : the best latte I've had in a long time. Deliciously creamy & perfectly balanced. They make such great coffee, I find myself returning to this place with embarrassing frequency. If you are ever in the area, make sure you give this place a try - well worth the visit!
What a gem of a café! The atmosphere is really unique, the music is always on point, & the coffee is stellar. To top it all off, they have some Greek pastries like tiropita & spanakopita! What more could you ask for?

I have been frequenting this coffee shop for over a year, & it is my number one spot in the city. I drive one hour to meet up with friends & enjoy delicious coffee, relaxing atmosphere, chill music, & the best cheesecakes around.
One of the owners is absolutely the sweetest human & makes us feel like family every time we are there❤?
My only wish is that I lived closer to this little gem. A truly unique & special place indeed.
Saint JJH & Café is truly a hidden gem. The setting is nothing like your typical coffee spot. It's cosy, warm, & beautifully curated. The space is filled with greenery & unique touches, blending plants with timeless, antique-style pieces that give the café a distinct charm. It's characterful & elegant, like stepping into a thoughtfully designed space where every detail feels intentional. A perfect place to relax, connect, & enjoy a special moment.
I went there with a friend as she wanted to show me this absolute treasure of a place. I went in, & it blew my mind. The decor is absolutely spectacular & so original as each piece I'm sure can tell a story . The food in which I had the soup 🍲 was out of this world . The music is beyond remarkable as I'm an old-school soul from Steely Dan to Lionel Richie & more. I have never ever been blown away from any place as I was here . It is so worth taking the time to discover such a gem 💎 ✨?. I give 5 stars, & if I can give more, that would be without question that I would .
Absolutely wonderful place & atmosphere! The layout of it is unique, cozy & tweaked with vibrant personality. The music is enjoyable & never repetitive which adds a great touch. As someone who normally studies with headphones, I find myself often removing them. Enjoying the music while continuing to engage myself in my work. I must add that the menu is fresh with personality & ingenuity. I don't normally order food at cafes, but they have an exceptionally irresistible menu. The other day I ordered a blueberry pie. It was sweet & exuded generosity.
It is very clear that a lot of love & soul continuously goes into this place. & its that heart & soul that really makes this place what it is. Not just with the food, music & decor, but especially in the customer service. The staff are clearly cared for & happy to be there & it shows. & that care extends to the customers. It shows that client satisfaction is very important to this place. From enjoying their food & drinks, to seating arrangements & overall experience.
& if you're lucky, which you will be if you come here. You might get a chance to meet the owner. Who is a very pleasant person. & without a doubt is extremely present in ensuring that her customers experience is of the highest quality. Even when closing time comes, she never lets anyone feel rushed to leave. Letting people finish things up on their own. For someone who studies a lot that was really nice.
& the quality of interactions that happen here are fantastic. Whether its between the staff, the owner or others. It is definitely a great vibe whether you just want to study alone or meet new people. Everyone seems to be so nice a respectful.
For these reasons this cafe becomes more than just a place to study. But kin to a loving home that opens its arms so warmly to everyone. I believe it is truly a gem & a staple within its community.
Found this gem on Instagram ! This café gives such a warm yet whimsical vibe. It provides different seating areas where you can choose from & each area has a cosy feeling & is comfortable.Perfect for having your warm tea or coffee. We ordered Matcha & Latte coffee along with The Euphoric crepe & the quiche with two cookies. Every single dish was delicious & well presented. I've been to Tommy's Café & other high-end ones which mostly have the hype due to its name only ....however, this café gives you the best vibe & feeling all places should provide for its money . The owner also introduced herself & was extremely warm professional & passionate about her Café.Definitely will Come back !

This is a hidden gem of Verdun! Such a cozy place with the spirit of an antique shop. Good coffee, wonderful pastries. You can also have a brunch here & our soup was a blast! But don't arrive too late, as the owner is usually wrapping up the day at 2 PM.
Really cool, cosy & vintage cafe. The smoothies & baked goods are really delicious, chill songs playing in the background & eclectic decor. A hidden gem! Good to just chill & have a catch up, & maybe bring some games!
