Shame on me! I went back to get my face slapped again. It used to be a decent place for a chicken meal. Now, they are running, their once good name, into the ground.

I stopped ordering here because of all the errors & missing products but someone had posted a review about the tenders, & was really impressed. So, I stupidly decided to give Au Coq another chance.
I got the tenders but they were far from tender, they were rock hard & completely burnt (cremated). I was gobsmacked that someone could put those tenders into a box & send them out to a customer, they obviously don't care at all. Then they don't send the two sauces. How did they expect me to get the charcoal down without lube? They actually charge 1.50$ per sauce so they effectively stole 3$ from me on top of the crappy food.
I am leaving this abusive relationship once & for all.
Ordered several times from this place. My order is always late & cold. Staff attitude sucks big time. They didn't care that I wouldn't be ordering anymore from them. Never ordering from them again.
Ordered club sandwich from uber, sandwich was smaller than expected, the chicken inside were old, stale & dry. Delivery driver handed the boxes & it was cold as if it wasnt in a thermal bag & that he walked in the cold winter just holding the boxes. First bite & I got BIG CARTILAGE 3rd bite & i bit on a FRAGMENTED BONE, If my teeth started hurting & get cracked I will go after you. Heres a photo of the bone & cartilage from the first sandwich. Terrible experience. If I can give negative rating I would. Im typing this while husband is eating his & he just bit on another bone.
Best chicken I've had in Montreal but theirs a catch. You have to wait extremely long periods of time to get your order. They almost always forget something & they will credit you for next time. Wish they would fix their issues. Service is getting worse at this place. Closing early, not follow hours & lying to people about the hours of the establishment. Sucks when it's the only au coq Benny in the south of Montreal you can't even get service
Ne commandez jamais à cette succursale. Nous avons commandé il y a bientôt 2h & toujours rien d'arrivé, mais je pense que le pire est que lorsque j'appelle, on me raccroche la ligne au nez à chaque fois. Je ne mangerai pas cette nourriture qui va arriver sûrement froid & molle. Je veux me faire rembourser.

Aujourd'hui j'ai appel pour du poulet 🐔 au coq Verdun 2h30 poulet sec frites pas cuir & trop sac manque de livraisons j'ai pas payer pour sa commande plus la
livraison a revoir très mauvais service longue attente repas froid a l'arrivé a déconseiller 2 km de distance aucun achalandage repas reçus 1h30 près pour un simple duo.
Pas mangé depuis longtemps & ça va prendre encore très longtemps ! Poulet extrêmement salé comme si la salière avait été versée dessus & moi qui aime le salé, c'est rare que je dise ça ! La sauce était très claire, pas comme avant & que dire du sympathique livreur, malgré un bon pourboire. Terminé pour moi, malheureusement !
GARDEZ VOTRE ARGENT!! La livraison a pris 2h à arriver , le poulet était froid & la peau n'était pas croustillante, le peu de frites que nous avons eu était molles. De plus, les bâtonnets de mozzarella était manquants ! C'était deguelasse & ça me laisse sur ma faim. 70$ au poubelles.

Chicken got here cold & gooey waited more then 1h30 for my food to get here fries were soggy & not crispy & they gave me sausages instead of mozzarella sticks i would suggest you go somewhere else this place isnt what it used to be .
insolence de la réceptionniste mettant en attente pour vérifier l'état de ma commande après presque 2 heures d'attente & lorsque je téléphone d'un autre appareil, elle répond finalement, aucune écoute se montre condescendante
Ordered a club sandwich. Most of the time they don't put mayo in the club… but here they didn't even add a cup of mayo on the side. Also, don't expect a good amount of fries with your meal, unless you're on a diet & want to slightly cheat your diet it's a good place to order.

I ordered sweet potato fries with my order. With an extra charge of $2.89. I received them burnt. BURNT! The chicken was dry & the French fries were overcooked. The wrap was full of mayonnaise & very little chicken. So disappointed!
I tried the new chicken tenders twice now & they were excellent. The first time I only tried the tenders alone with a roast chicken meal & I was wowed. Tonight I tried the chicken tenders meal with waffle fries & sauces & it was even better. Photo shows the sizes of the tenders. They were exceptional. Best tenders I've ever had. Blows away KFC, Jack & all the rest. They need to sort out their sauces but the chicken & waffle fries were on point. Knowing the uneven service with this establishment I can't say for sure if the quality will remain if these become popular (they are made fresh) but for now I'm enjoying these.
Commandé à 17:54 , arrivé à 18:19. Poulet tiède , je crois que c'était une commande antérieure qui n'a pas été livré & on nous là livrer même si elle a trainé sur leur comptoir pendant longtemps.
