This is truly a fine establishment! I can only praise.
Everything from the appetizers to the desserts is simply spectacular, only surpassed by the flawless service.
The servers were very knowledgeable, attentive & courteous. Most restaurants would try to upsell & get you to order dessert but we actually appreciated that the server recommended dessert to us because it was truly that good!
The portions were also really good. You will not leave empty.View more
We were 14 people, & everyone loved what they ordered. I had the chicken & home fries, delicious. Also, you must have the dessert platter.View more
First timer. Sorry, not impressed. Won't be returning. For everything that I've heard about this restaurant it failed Big Time to live up to expectations, especially when charging such exorbitant prices, more than New York City & Miami. It's laughable. 3 star rating based on prices / product / service - you'd expect more. Both iffy service & food. Read on for details. A lot of small things add up. Ordered drinks - they didn't clear the wine glasses which a waiter is supposed to after the first round is ordered. Ordered a dirty martini & didn't get any dirty - had to ask. They still didn't take the wine glasses away even after they brought our cocktails. The Taglioloni Nero pasta was quite good, but they didn't bring a bowl to put mussel shells in. I think there was a combined five or six waiters/buss boys for the entire (LOUD) dining room, & it was a full house. Long breaks between waiter checking in on us. The $68 veal Milanese meat was so thin that the layers of breading were thicker than actual DRY meat content. Ordered for tea & it was only brought it after the dessert- sent it back. BARELY a cookie in the Tiramisu. Their valet is a completely unorganized mess for both cars up front & parked. Classic example of a restaurant taking advantage of their customers based of their longstanding reputation which is no longer being upheld.View more
Ma soeur de Londres & moi, nous avons adoré les boissons, les repas & les desserts que nous avions commandés. De plus, nous avons été très bien servis!View more
I don't even know where to start! Thank you Beatrice for making our engagement dinner something we will never forget. From the moment we walked in the door it felt like we were treated like royalty! The service was absolutely incredible - so much so that we STILL rave about it over a week later. I have never seen such a dedicated staff & to be quite honest, none of us have ever had a service this exceptional. If I could give 10 stars to the service, I absolutely would. Of course the food was absolutely AMAZING. From sharing the starters & a pasta dish, right into our main courses, everything was absolutely delectable. I personally had the lamb chops & wow - the best lamb I have ever had (& kudos for the suggestion). Topping our meal off with a special dessert & sparkle to celebrate my fiance & I was just the perfect special touch. We will never forget our experience at Beatrice & it is quite a special place to eat. We will certainly be back & will highly recommend to anyone & everyone we know in MTL! Cheers to Beatrice. 20/10 stars for sure!!View more
Their starter & main course was delicious & the dining experience is top class! However we did not like the panna cotta dessert, it was very liquidy & not thickened enough.View more
We had a dinner & were ordered pastas & some appetizer. They were all tasty & fresh . Also, desserts were delicious. We were visiting Montreal & definitely it is a good restaurant to visit .. highly recommended!!View more
The only criticism I have is the portion sizes are a little small. At least for the dishes I had which was a pasta & a dessert.View more
Lovely solarium type room in front of the main restaurant. Fairly quiet on a weekday in summer. Asked the waiter to turn down the dance music (?) & thankfully, he complied.
Tried the $25 prix fixe lunch menu.
Salmon crudo was delicious, but the portion was miniscule. 2 pieces of salmon small as the top of a thumb. No lemon, no salt was served or offered, though pepper was.
Seafood mix was also delicious though rather salty. Again miniscule portion, the vegetables consisted of a couple of bits of cauliflower & brussel spouts.
Dessert was 2 tiny balls, one of sorbet, the other a cheesecake mixture. Delicious.
Overall great food, but could hardly be called lunch. More like a couple of small plates to have with an aperitif. By mid-afternoon, we were hungry.
Oh, & we were charge $9.50 + tx for a bottle of sparkling water. Not impressed with that.
Maybe they feed you more at dinner?
