It is the tastiest juiciest griot I've ever had & I will keep coming back for more. Beyond that, every item on the menu is prepared to perfection so you can't choose wrong. Not to mention the service & ambiance is warm & friendly making you feel like you're on a sunny island even on the coldest winter day.
amazing food!! the pikliz bowl with shrimp had so much flavour & was a great portion for dinner. the shrimp were super tasty too, & resembled a panko-crust or tempura-style shrimp. amazing service & cozy vibe too!
Immaculate vibes, delicious drinks, & fantastic food…would give more stars if I could! Highly recommend.
The atmosphere was great, & the server was friendly. I loved the wall art, & the service was good. But oh boy, I paid $27 + tax & tip for the'slow cooked' fried goat, & it was SO DRY it hurt to swallow. I should've brought it up to the waitress. Hoping the restaurant sees this because it's so unfortunate.
Best Haitian Food in town, all the plates are worth trying you won't be disappointed! The place is clean, the portions are great, the food is so delicious. I'm definitely coming back with my whole family.
It was a great experience. It was impossible for the service to be perfect, so I appreciate every effort made to make sure we were satisfied. We will surely come again.
Excellente nourriture!
Nourriture incroyable.
Ceviche wow. Viande tendre.
Boisson fraîche .
Je recommande cette endroit !😁
Not really happy with my visit, it was the first time I've ever came here & for so
e reason my food took 50 min to arrive. I feel like there's way better haitian food in Montreal, especially for their prices.
So unsanitary here. Can't beleive I saw a worker that didn't use any gloves. Ridiculous. Cross contamination isn't a joke people
Woooow wooow ok je pensai avoir gouter toutes les griot de montreal mais la jvien de tomber sur mon top 1 de griot pis le pire ses meme pas sa specialiter poutine wrap feuilleter griot 🤯🤯🤯🤯
During my planned trip to Montreal, I had this restaurant on my bucket list, & it did not disappoint! Unfortunately, I live in a state where there are no Haitian restaurants, & having grown up in a city where accessing Haitian food was never an issue, I was really excited to visit this place. I'm so happy to say that it exceeded my expectations!
The decor, the photos, & the menu all clearly showcase that this restaurant is a love letter to Haiti.
To the owner, chef & staff, thank you for creating this amazing spot! I can't wait to return!
Pikliz feels like a neighbourhood restaurant with good food & great service.
On our first visit, the restaurant was full due to a big party (it's a small but comfy space). We asked Anna for a nearby recommendation & she came through with Satay Brothers, which was delicious!
We came back a few nights later, this time with a reservation, & enjoyed a really good meal. We tried a little bit of everything. The standouts for me were the hot sauce (which you can buy), pikliz, djondjon rice (wow!), banana donuts, macawoni, the mango cocktail, & griot.
Anna was a wonderful host & took great care of us! Really loved the music too.
Went there for lunch on a Friday & it was quite quiet & comfortable. The restaurant was small & intimate & we ordered a Malta Creole, a ceviche, the chicken wings, some taco-like dish & a special Haitian version of Mac & cheese. Everything tasted delicious & we were pleasantly surprised.
