Dîner au bar sur les tabourets hauts. Testé la formule carte blanche au chef, qui donne un bel aperçu.
Très content de ce choix, les plats se suivent & sont succulents, les portions sont justes car les assiettes sont nombreuses!
Service souriant & amical, bonnes suggestions d'accord mets & vins...
Un beau moment, merci à toute l'équipe du restaurant!

Was a good night with Jack, our waiter, incredible service we had that night. Excellent food, nothing to say.

We ordered 6 dishes to share. We started off nicely. The first 4 dishes arrived in a timely manner for a nicely paced meal. The last 2'hot dishes' arrived at 20 to 25 min intervals. What was a nice enjoyable evening, turned into a disappointing evening. It goes without saying, after the long wait for the first hot dish, all we wanted to do was get out of there. We had 2 glasses of wine each. We were not there to drink. We were there to enjoy the cuisine. When we it became obvious that we were not interested in more wine, the server looked after those beside us but would not even look at us. A difficult feat since we were seated at the bar. We got a'sorry for the delay' on the last dish, that was it. So maybe it was a bad night I don't know. Food was great once it arrived. Also it gets loud in there. Maybe it was our location. I would have expected at least the last dish complementary. That was our experience. Not interested in returning. We expected more. I really hope this was a one off for us as the cuisine was wonderful.

Nous avons commandé à la carte, & même si j'ai oublié le nombre exact de plats, chacun d'eux était fantastique & original. La langue de boeuf, le foie gras & le tartare de boeuf étaient particulièrement mémorables. Le millefeuille, en dessert, était absolument délicieux.

Nous somme venue mercredi le 27 mai, le service était impeccable, la nourriture excellente. Il y à eu une petite erreur (allergie) mais celle ci à vite été rattraper. J'y retourne sans hésiter !!

J'ai essayé plusieurs bons restaurants à Montréal dans la dernière année. Rien arrive à la cheville de mon expérience de hier soir au Limbo. C'était incroyable.

Étant moi-même cuisinier, on parle souvent de la cuisson des viandes en cuisine, mais rarement du mastering de la cuisson des légumes, qui est selon moi encore plus complexe à comprendre & à maîtriser. Je crois que c'est ce qui m'a le plus marqué du Limbo, les légumes étaient PARFAITS. Tout le reste l'était aussi.

Service impeccable, bouffe de dingue, & ambiance super agréable.
