Food as always was great - creative, flavourful, just the right amount of spice & quantity. Soundproofing & insulation could be better (we sat next to the wall facing the building & there was very cold air coming in). Great cocktails.
Quelle belle expérience ! Excellente nourriture à prix abordable, ambiance chaleureuse, staff accueillant & professionnel, cocktails dangereusement sublimes...Une tradition est née :) !
This was my first time at this restaurant after walking past it for years.
While there, the fire alarm went off four seperate times throughout the course of our meal, which was super disruptive. I would have hoped that the restaurant would have offered a drink or a dessert - something to make up for the repetetive loud noise, but they didn't which I found disappointing. Service was okay, nothing to write home about.
The cocktails, ceviche & the jerk chicken were good, though I found it to be a bit over-priced for what it was. Maybe it was just my dish, but I was looking forward to bold, Carribean flavors - but instead the flavors were very subtle & muted. This was the mildest jerk chicken
I've had. Dependss on your preference, but if you're looking for bold flavor, I would recommend elsewhere.
Accueil chaleureux avec présentation du décor. Serveur très courtois expliquant bien les plats. Bonne bouffe. Quantité surprenante de cocktails & d'alcool. Décor fort joli
We were late for our reservation but they let us in anyway, we only had time for drinks but the cocktails were exceptionally good. The wait staff were attentive & kind. The owner walks around & greets people & chats with you. The food smelled amazing & we are already planning to go back next week. A bit of a gem. Looking forward to going back.

Excellent food. Outstanding service. Menu is pricey & the venue is kind of strange, in a glass box pretty much right next to the event plaza next to Place des Arts. The terrasse is unfortunately not close enough to actually watch any of the events. Just close enough to be annoyed by the repeating bass notes. But I still give Kamuy 5 stars because the food was delicious. The cocktail I had (Oxum) was also great. & the waitress we had was fantastic. I wish she had given me her name cause I would shout her out here, she was super kind, high spirited & always there when we needed her.
Kamuy was a very pleasant discovery. Menu was creative using little known ingredients to North Americans & covering a number of Caribbean destinations. It was also extremely well executed from the appetizer to the dessert. I had the very best trout I've ever had (including meals eaten worldwide) : skin was crispy & flesh was moist. Outstanding wine menu going from the affordable to high-end unique. Interesting cocktails.
L'ambiance, le cadre, les cocktails & la nourriture sont très bien. Le service est par contre à revoir, notre serveuse assignée n'a jamais été présente & après 15mins d'attente pour la note, c'est une autre personne qui nous l'a donné. Le DJ a joué une musique qui n'allait pas avec l'ambiance & une musique trop forte. Tout le reste a fait que l'expérience était bien.
Excellente atmosphère, ambiance exotique, les cocktails sont savoureux & la cuisine de chef Paul est à s'en lécher les doigts.
Passer un bon moment entre amis , assis sur la terrasse, à savourer un excellent repas , est un bonheur quasi divin....
N'oubliez surtout pas de terminer votre soirée avec un cocktail au "clairin", cette eau de vie à base de canne à sucre, unique à Haïti, qui vous fera voyager sous les tropiques , à même votre chaise!!!!!!!
Ce restaurant est excellent ! Le service, la décoration & l'ambiance sont impécables. La nourriture est succulente : l'entrée, le plat principal, le dessert, le cocktail, etc. Vous allez adorer votre moment à Kamuy. En plus, il y a une super belle terrasse !
Beau, bien situé, convivial, sans prétention...l'endroit & l'emplacement sont charmants. Nous avons commandé d'excellents cocktails (chapeau!) & queques plats (tapas & principaux) & avons partagé. C'était très bien: le grillo, les bananes plantins frites &: le poulet jerk étaient succulents, différents! Nos autres plats étaient biens aussi (crevettes jerk, accras, salade croquante) mais pas exceptionnels. Ceci étant dit, nous retournerons, c'est certain! Ah, aussi: le staff était super sympa! Belle soirée:)
The food was well presented, with unique options & amazing flavour combinations. The staff were very friendly & the patio was very nice. Their cocktails are very good too! We had a great experience.
We went on a monday night. Very good ambiance, Great service & good Food. What else can you ask for? Wait I know, great cocktails.
You owe it to yourself to try their cocktails. They are great. Enjoy.
